Alexis looks like the most put together last night. A lot wore awful makeup, worst offender was Shangela. The Heather explanation was ridiculous but I thought Raja was sincere when she gave her necklace to Stacy. I really watch the show because of Ru. Love her! Looking forward to the next season.
As upset this season made me, I am already sad that it’s over. I like Shangela, but she looked horrible last night. India, Venus, and Phoenix were right behind her. I actually thought Mimi looked OK, if not matronly. LOVE Yara’s over the top drag persona. DO NOT LIKE DELTA, but I thought she looked great and was the most real. Stacy looked GORGEOUS!! No surprises with Manila and Alexis. They were looked very nice. Raja? Raja? A boy in a dress. She’s a great walker – Does that make a drag superstar? Maybe a model competition. I loved that Yara was able to explain how she felt. She spends so much time and energy and Raja comes out in shorts and a tank and passes gas and the judges loved her. But, Raja really should have won. She is a Charisma, Unique, Nerve and Talent. Think about it.
I was amazed on how pretty Mimi Imfurst looked. I didn’t recognize him/her.
Oh yeah, Raja is definitely Charisma, Unique, Nerve and Talent: Her “heather” friend Delta is a close second. Am I the only one who thought Madonna wannabee (Venus Lite) and Phoenix are the same person? There is nothing unique about them. I honestly forgot Venus was on the show to tell you the truth. I wish the transform the formal for Drag U. It is quite boring! These women (the real one born with a uterus) need a real makeover (clothes, how to wear makeup, updated haircuts) not a makeover to look like a Drag Queen. These women need an OPRAH STYLE MAKEOVER.
I’m Asian. While I wasn’t necessarily offended by Manila’s portrayal of asians, it did make me a little uncomfortable.
Worst recap ever. We all watched the show what we want is your opinion. Everything that came out of the “Heather’s” mouths seemed contrived.
Come on guys lets as Shabgela say “be real” the only nice person was Stacy Mathews and yes she didn’t deserve to be on drag race, I’m openly gay and I know for sure that Stacy is more of a transsexual then a drag queen, she even said herself how she dressed like a woman 24.7. Yes Stacy was pretty perhaps her, Mariah and Carmen was the prettiest ones, but there’s a difference between a drag queen and a transsexual. Now lets get on Shangela, which is one of the manipulative people I have ever encountered and every one fell for it, she constantly talked about everyone like a dog but no one see’s that. Alexis and Yara was being spoiled little haters and the really put there two cents in on Raja and Manila, Shangela was just horrible, funny but a horrible drag queen, Yara was too catoure and looked like a clown at times, Alexis wore way too many pads and looked like my aunt ( yes she is pretty bay wayyy to much body.), and Mariah was just a pretty face. When it all comes down to it Raja was the most consistent and very unique, no one can questions her talents and when she lip-syncs its amazing. The top 3 should have been exactly how it was and Ru made the right choice, and yes the reunion show was very boring.
THANK YOU, Andrew! I am so glad someone other than me saw Shangela’s nastiness–and the fact that she got away with it–and the way Yara and Alexis acted like bratty kids, always whining that the judges were “mean” to them (never mind that they made the bottom 4), and tearing down the others to make themselves feel like victims of the judges supposed bias. Raja is my favorite contestant of any season, and Manilla rocked. In any other season, I think Manilla could have won.
Not could have won, Manilla would have won. Raja may not remember me but as a kid I idolized him his sense of fashion and his creativity. He is a big hitter in L.A. so of course he would be the won to beat. Delta, Raja, Manilla and Alexis (with better padding) are all heavy hitters. It was a good Compition and I will admit Shangela added flair because of her being very rude and sneaky in a sly sort of way.
And then I began to see how whiny both Yara and Alexis were (esp Alexis, always insecure with her body, heaping her hate against Carmen..). I mean, they were complaining about the swimsuit money challenge and the hair challenge and, “follow the rules”? The rules are there as guidelines. They really can’t seem to think out of the box when it came to the challenges and that was their downfall… *sigh*

Stacy Layne Matthews has more class in her little finger than Raja and Delta Work have in their entire bodies. She graciously accepted that tacky necklace. I would have given it back, saying I had already graduated high school. Delta is so full of herself, and for the life of me, I can’t understand why. She says they are all “grown men”, then why don’t they act like it. Their behavior with this heathers BS would be expected from my 12 year old niece, not from grown men in their 30′s. As for performance, I would pay to see a booger over a heather any day, and that includes “America’s Next Drag Superstar”. Here’s hoping we get more mature adults competing for the next season. Two final words for the heathers: GROW UP!
I had actually voted for Stacy to get Miss Congeniality. She was a sweetheart and a lady through and through. But Yara was a close second for me and I was glad to see her get it.
Props to Alexis for speaking up to Michelle Visage. Despite her explanations, Michelle had it out for Alexis since the 4th or 5th episode and favored Carmen and Manila to a painfully obvious degree.
i’m so glad that it was raja who won.because i’ve been following her fab behind thru antm.and to rupaul i just love your show but unfortunately i can only get reruns.so ru keep it up and bless you and your girls
Oh jeez, why the hell was everyone so worked up about the “Heathers” thing? Like Carmen said, “that’s YOUR insecurity”. Alexis (in the early eps) and Shangela were just as harsh as Raja and Delta, just Shangela always managed to frame it (“Just keepin it real” “Oh so now….”) to make her look like the good guy/girl/it…. I think DJ Pierce (Shangela’s real name) is going to go far in show business, but as a drag queen? Please…
Raja is definitely more genderf&ck, but I think after Nina Flowers loss, Ru owed it to the genderf%ck community to have her win… But personally I think Manila was the best all-rounder… Not as fierce as Raja, not as dynamic as Shangela, a damn good lip-syncer, and with a better knowledge and command of camp than Alexis. Has anyone else noticed that only Manila, Raja, and Delta seemed to get Ru’s more esoteric jokes and references? She’ll refer to a movie or saying and they’ll giggle and add on while Alexis, Shangela & co blink politely? Drag card, confiscated!
The recap missed the obvious trembling in Raja’s voice as Rupaul stated how many people REJECTED Raja as any winner! And that Logo and Facebook is clogged with people ACCURATELY saying Raja should not have won and is just a man in a dress! I predicted this RIGGED win would upset folks and I will BET that Raja is going to get booed or heckled somewhere with his nonperforming butt! Raja looked nervous and unglued at Carmen Carrerra’s Bday party in a NY club and had the gall to be saying that Mariah,Stacey etc were ALL Heathers at that time…the crowd was not into THAT crap at all! They were close to booing Raja and she was busted,Carmen and Manila outshone her by far in that clip! As I expected…!
The Heather necklace should have been thrown in Raja’s face but Stacy is very classy versus the Heathers! And I LOL’ed at SHANGELA getting that TV pilot…Raja can’t be happy about that,he can’t even charm a NY club,and Shangela is on network TV! Serves that cliqueish cheater Raja right. And Delta STILL sucks. Manilla should have won,but Alexis is the one who looked the happiest most confident and like the winner…not Raja. And good for Yara Sofia…she deserved that fan voted win,her or Stacey! Rupaul needs to do better with judging and contestants next time…no friends in the cast,and some fairness in jusging is indicated.
Oh come on that’s just drivel, first of all you can tell that the Heathers thing was just a joke, take it how you wanna take it, and they didn’t refer to Mariah as a booger, Raja and Manila said they thought she was the one to beat. Shangela got the pilot because yea he is a good actor and comedian not a good drag queen, and maybe you need to go to Google images and type in Raja Gemini and you will see why he won. Everyone know’s Raja in L.A. he’s what we call Legendary and it so happens that a deserving legend took the crown. I believe you and a lot of other people are blinded by the whole heathers mishap and Shangela doing a very good acting job. Go online and look at the season again and you will see what im talking about.
I know people who’ve taken videos and were in that show… gurl, they loved Raja. They came up to her while she was performing and kissed her, showering her w/ money. At one point people just came up to stuff money in her bra. And when she danced into the crowd, they groped her a few times! LOL. Please. Amanda is a lying troll.
