Thor brought the hammer down tonight for the film’s red carpet premiere tonight in Hollywood, and you can watch what went down here on EW via Marvel.com, with host Isaiah “Old Spice Guy” Mustafa and stars Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Hopkins, Tom Hiddleston, Kat Dennings, Rene Russo, Idris Elba, Clark Gregg, and director Kenneth Branagh, as well as Hemsworth’s brother Liam, and his future costar in The Avengers Jeremy Renner — who also appears in Thor in a quick cameo as Marvel hero Hawkeye.

Before the event, we asked Mustafa what he would be asking: “I tend to be more of an off-the-cuff type of person,” he told EW, “rather than scripted questions…. I’m sure they’re going to have all kinds of fun stories for me.” So the famously buff Old Spice spokesman would not ask Hemsworth about his fitness regimen for the film? “He’s a big guy,” Mustafa laughed. “I’ve met him before. He has a brother also who’s just as big as he is. I think big dudeness just runs in their family.”
Check out the premiere below!

I enjoyed Thor, hope it does well in the US.
I watched it Saturday, in Brasilia (Brazil). LOVED IT!
Just one question, thou’… Is Chris Hemsworth for real??? OH MY GOD…
OMG…isn’t he just heavenly???!
I’m kinda partial to Tom Hiddleston myself. Does that make me weird?
PS: For anybody in doubt, see BBC “Cranford Returns” or Wallander
I saw it too! It was good but it could have been alot better. I don’t think Natalie Portman did this movie any justice. They should have focused more on the action scenes rather than the love story
Well it’s the drama and the “love story” (which is a fairly small part of the film actually) that has made it so popular thus far. Also it’s cheaper and the film’s budget, though biggish, simply couldn’t have handled anymore action. The other realms, Frost Giants etc were very expensive as it was. Now he’s established expect lots of Earthly Thor action in Avengers movies and much more Lord of The Rings and other wordly stuff in Thor movies.
You have to remember not every film has $200m plus spent on it, even if it’s a big summer movie.
Craig Posted on I don’t know if 8 hours of utility there’s much or not. But I wloudn’t buy a HP mini laptop, because first of all it’s more expensive than a normal dimensioned laptop. Not running modern games on high detail settings is a bad point also.
This is great and a lotta fun to watch! Isaiah is crackin’ me up…good times!
“Sorry we can’t do ‘Power Pack’…how would you feel about ‘Thor’?” LOL!
Isaiah to gorgeous gal admiring him and taking his picture: “…Sometimes you gotta leave the horse at home…” LOLZ!
Cool.
Cooler.
Coolest.
Coolier.
I just saw it too, in Mexico. I really liked it. It was simple, more character driven than action-packed.
really, so far the best from marvel was iron man 1, the 2nd was crap and also hulk was okay. its the story that counts not the bulky leading man and the enemy.
A lot of people are saying Thor is the best MarvelStudios movie. I thought Iron Man 2 was much better than Iron Man and despite what the media say, most people had little or no problem with Iron Man 2, it’s ratings and home sales prove as much.
Yes there were a lot of people that didn’t like it, but a lot less than you’d think from reading various websites and movie mags.
People loved Iron Man a lot of people liked Incredible Hulk and Iron MAn 2 did better than Iron Man. Thor has made $100m+ already and has over 85% of people saying they really liked it. So it’s a hit already, hopefully that’ll be matched when it opens in the states and it’ll be a bigger hit.
Also the story is very important, again it’s one of the reasons for its success so far, but the leading man has to be good, see Iron Man and Norton in The Hulk, and a good antogonist helps too. Hiddleston’s performance as the layered, potential, bad guy Loki is another key reason for people liking the film so much.
I can’t believe that Hemsworth is the same guy that played Chris Pine’s father in the new Star Trek.
It’s a good movie, a hell of a lot of fun and there’s a good Shakespearian drama at the heart of it.
Make sure you stay until the end of the credits for the biggest MArvel Studios’ ending yet.
