On last night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Martin Short debuted the trailer for his labor of love, Jersey Short, a cautionary tale of what happens when Snooki gets pregnant and delivers a pickle. He stars in every role. The best moment is Snooki’s entrance. Watch it below.
Also: Short looks pretty good as a woman, right? It got me thinking that he should star in a drag comedy with The Kids in the Hall. This is just off the top of my head: What if six guys going through a midlife crisis wanted to buy a mansion owned by a dying widow (played by Betty White). It’s so big, they could each have their own wing to impress the ladies. The widow says there’s no way she’d sell her beautiful estate to a group of men. If they were women, maybe. The men figure they can dress in drag long enough to outlast the widow. What about all the paperwork they’d have to sign as themselves? Okay, so the widow has a greedy son who handles all of that, and he won’t tell on them as long as they [insert bribe from each of them]. Bad? Yes. But again, just off the top of my head.

Unfunny situation
this just made my day!
Would your Kids in the Hall, Martin Short movie include cameo appearances by Tom Hanks and that other guy? Scollari?
This is great
The entire cast of Jersey Shore is a complete waste of space.
This is hilarious! It is Martin Short at his best – and why not laugh? We need all the humor and laughter we could get in this world! I like the Kids in the Hall idea – but Martin may have to work on his female voices!
I dunno–don’t they sound like that anyway?
Martin Short is fantastic. He’s one of the few comedians from my generation who stood the test of time for me. The others being Bill Murray and Steve Martin. Most people think Jiminy Glick is just another comedian in a fat suit, but it’s actually a really funny character. It used to blow my mind how quick and smart he was in the interview segments. The Ice Cube interview is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. They need to release that series on DVD.
Terrific! Thanks for posting this.
