This weekend, many families will celebrating either Easter and Passover. (Or both, although “Eastover” doesn’t have quite the ring of Chrismukkah.) But after you find all the eggs and afikomans, after you learn about people rising from the grave and bread not rising in the oven, after you stuff yourself senseless with grandma’s cooking (something all religions seem to agree on), maybe you want to catch a movie? If so, picking between the weekend’s three big releases might seem tough — until you take our fail-proof, one-question quiz. Ready? Here goes: Which of the following are you NOT afraid of: A) Captive elephants, B) Wild lions, or C) Men dressed as slap-happy old women. If you picked A, then Water for Elephants, starring Reese Witherspoon and Rob Pattinson is probably the pic for you this weekend. Enjoy! If you picked B, then you might want to check out Disney’s new doc African Cats, which we are more excited about now that we know it isn’t about exporting the musical Cats to Africa. And if you picked C, then you should seek the counsel of a licensed therapist — and then check out Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Big Happy Family, starring Perry as his beloved, be-wigged alter ego. Easy choice, right? Now head to the poll and let us know what you’ll be seeing this weekend!

That Water For Elephants is in my face on this site. At work, I think people who walk by think I am obsessed with this movie since I have Edward Kullen and Elle Woods staring at something just off screen!
Nothing. Another weekend of crap. When will something interesting be released?
Sure beats the *urp* *gag* Denny’s bacon sundae banners.
I will wait till it comes out on netflex, can’t afford to go to the show with the price of gas going up and our checks staying the same.
I wanted to get excited for Water for Elephants (It isn’t out in the U.K for a few wees but I have free preview tickets) But the trailer makes it look like the most boring films for years. My wife hated it even more than I do and when I told her I had a free preview she was less than impressed.
African Cats I really cannot want to see.
Water for elephants is getting poor reviews, I can’t stand Tyler perry and African cats is only 40 minutes so I’ll keep my ten bucks this weekend and wait for netflix
I’m watching Madea’s Big Happy Family. I’m going to support the pre-dominantly ethnic cast, because clearly no one else in Hollywood cares about the black, Hispanic, or Asian filmmakers.
That’s a joke right? I mean seriously a joke? Things aren’t perfect but you can’t seriously believe that statement can you?
Water For Elefants is full of good actors play, drama, some detective & love story. Good movie.
