Sorry to see Paul go home. I liked him… but they are all going to go home… except one. I’m just really glad it wasn’t Haley tonight because she had really been building momentum and slid back last night a little. I think she’ll do really great next week.
I like Scotty but, he is corny and I’ve wondered if he’s watched David Carouso a bit to much — geez boy hold your neck straight just once!
I’m glad Haley survived,this is only my opinion but I think among the contestants left,it should come down to a final between her and James,and that’s only if James can tone it down every once in awhile like he did with My Guitar Gently Weeps,and then again tonight on Sound of Silence.Someone needs to pull him aside and tell him that he is vocally stronger when he’s a little bit quiet,than he is when he’s wailing and screaming.
I’d be down with that. But it seems unlikely the country singers can’t get dethroned and apparently Scotty has been like #1 spot with ease every single week or something.
I’m so sad that Paul went home this week.
Really though, send Jacob and Haley home and then I’m fine with whoever wins,because I like so many of them this season.
Ultimately, I’d love for James to win though. I love James!!

LOL@ the comments about Scotty’s head tilt. My friend and I were talking about it today…it’s kind of creepy. I know that I am probably going to get lots of comments on this, but I LOVE Jacob’s voice…it’s amazing. Anyways, everyone have a nice night!
I hate Southern Christians! If Scotty & Lauren are in the final, then this show needs to be renamed Confederate Idol. I wish that people in the South lacked passion! I wish that the Southern states had never been readmitted into the Union! Hard-core country fans seem to have no respect for anything that’s not Southern! It makes me sick!!

“Re-admitted into the Union?!?!” They seceded and the Civil War was about not letting them LEAVE the Union. The *South* wishes they’d never been “re-admitted into the Union.” That’s hilarious.
I am sad to see Paul being voted off, but he was not ever a favorite with any of these young girls that are doing the voting. And let’s face it, he is just too classy and good for this cheesy show. His future is bright back in Nashville and he will be welcomed back with open arms. I wish him great success and his handling of this evening elimination was not only classy and professional, it reminded me why I voted for him the first week as well as for Stefano. I am so sick and tired of Stefano being in the bottom three when he delivered a decent performance last night but he got back-lashed because of Pizza Pia. That is wrong. Soon enough this show will be over with for this season and that will be enough !!!
Sadly the show has become a “Popularity Contest”..not a “Talent Contest”..
Paul was the most UNIQUE of them all..Idol needed him more than he needed Idol..just gave him more exposure..he’ll do just GREAT..
The endless ‘teeny-bopper’ votes are keeping Stefano & Haley around..but their time will soon be up..as will Jacob & Casey..
The Final 3 will be Scotty..James and Lauren & I’m thinking Laura will win..

Poor Stefano, I’m sure he’s gotten so used to it that he’ll probably just walk himself to the bottom 3 chairs next week before Ryan even calls him lol. He’s a great singer but very forgettable, it takes more then that now to make millions of people buy your record and really make it. Several of the past idol winners are proof of that, you rarely hear anything about them anymore. Finding a Kelly Clarkson is rare, 9 years later and still going strong!
Stefano shouldn’t be in the bottom three, I have no idea why he is. He has tremendous talent, and is being overshadowed by all the histrionics of the other performers. While Haley did an excellent job last night, it is the first time I have EVER been impressed by her. I must say I am incredibly turned off by her manner. Reminds me of my stepson’s ex girlfriend. YIKES!!!
Why do they even sing? Just have a half-hour results show every week until they crown the most ‘popular’ American Idol.
