While I am a Scotty fan, I do not feel that Pia should ever have been in the bottom 3 let alone be voted off! It was a real shock. She has a magnificent voice, charming personality and a very classy appearance. She will go far without AM
It’s clear the producers have alrady chosen the winner like they do every season. Right around this time, every season, they throw out the “shocker”. If the producers know she isn’t going to be the overall winner, then when does it matter when she “goes”? The producers do this every year as shock value to keep people watching. America’s votes, hah! People are so gullible
It looks like America’s prejudice and discrimination against minorities is the reason that mono tone blonde and blue-eyed country boys survive the American Idol cut and beautiful talented voices like that of Pia’s are eliminated. Take a look every week and you can be sure that the bottom three are in the “minority” category or happen to have the look. Take a look at the “you are safe” couch and you will find the majority are blond haired and fair skinned contestants. Other past winners reflect this–Chris D. and Adam L. (both talented and unconventional) lost to two vanilla contestants. American Idol has to change its process. It is unfair to eliminate talent like Pia and let mediocore talent survive the cuts. I won’t be watching AI anymore. Pia will make it big in spite of this injustice.
Jacob, Paul and Stefano need to go next then Lauren. Jacob is too Broadway, show tuney. Paul I just don’t quite get. He’s fun but does not have the best vocals. Stefano can sing but he’s sort of just a ballad singer. Casey, James, Haley and Scotty are the best. I look for Scotty McCreery to make it to at least the top 3. It may be to his advangtage to not be #1. I’m still wondering about that. I’m sure he will be signed to a label the minute he is voted off the show. He is already a great performer at such a young age. He will last a long time in Country provided he picks the right songs. I like Haley a lot because she has such a unique voice and she brings it when she is challeneged and she did Janis Joplin proud Wednesday! I would buy Sottie’s and Haley’s CD today also probably Casey’s. He is such a good instrumentalists also. I like him much better playing his bass and singing James Taylor songs rather than trying to rock.
Its your wish but mine is: Paul, Casey and Scotty will be the Bottom 3 this week. They sound so BORING!!!
I think either everyone thought Pia was safe or the comments the judges made about her stage presence hurt her. I wonder if they wish they hadn’t used their save.
No one should presume their bets are safe if the votes are not counted yet. stefano rocks!!!!!!!!!
