Debra Byrd’s a bit dense if she didn’t understand why JLo and Randy didn’t like Naima’s performance. It was so fake with that ridiculous accent. The straight up regae would have probably been fine, but when she started singing with that accent. Yeesh! And as far as Steven liking it, he’s a joke; he likes everything.

Sorry, you’re not familiar with this kind of music. Do you think the producer would let her go with an accent if it wasn’t appropriate for the music? And if you didn’t notice–Randy didn’t call her out on her use of the accent, either. Many people who do reggae use an accent, even if they don’t have an accent.

In my opinion, I believe Naima has true talent! Each week she improves AND does something unique! She isnt afraid to utilize the stage or take a risk. She is interesting to watch and if I were to pay to see a concert, the only one I would want to go see would be hers,,,,, bottom line is she delivers unique performances and has the whole package! Isnt that what entertainment is all about? Win or lose I am sure she will do well in the future.

I think the show will be a little less interesting without Naima. And I trust that Thia will definitely have a career in some capacity in music in the future. Her voice is so beautiful and pure.

Really appreciate the behind-the-scenes impressions from the coaches. Their front line observations fill in so many of the blanks I have while watching the show. I’d really like to see more of this information on the show instead of the Ryanfluff it seems to be filled with.
