Auggie..What show have you been watching????You think Raja should win??? She is the worst when it comes to trashing people and is just plain mean and disrespectful. She thinks she is the best…hardly. She has this idea that no one is better than her because she has done drag for so long. She is ugly and some of her costumes are a joke. And need I reming you she cheated with the hair costume and used tulle? Oh yea right, she should win…NOT!
I totally agree with you!!!!!! Alexis Mateo should win. I can’t stand Manila and I’m from the philippines.
Yes, Jer, I think Alexis should win too.She is very talented, sweet and has a winning personality as well as a real desire to entertain people. She comes across as a real lady! Manila seems to be pretty put together in the looks department but her humor…well shes not really even humorous, more like goofy, with those faces she makes and the way she flips her head around! That slapstick is not entertainment to me, and I wouldnt pay to see it. Alexis seems to have the desire to entertain, yes because she loves what she does, but also she loves the people shes performing in front of. Raja seems to only be about himself, He uses the “I I I” so much its sickening. And as for his speech on Monday night about why he should win, while it made sense,it was the poor old pitiful me..about all the little boys who are picked on, getting a chance to do what makes them happy…Blah blah blah…He seems to forget we live in an age where bullying happens across the board..Race,weight,where you come from, as well as sexual orientation..And the crocodile tears he shed were less than convincing.
Having watched several of each of their performances on youtube, at different venues they have worked,Alexis should win hands down. Shangela, unfortunately not still in the running, gives an awesome performance too, and truly seems to love her followers.
Alexis should win hands down.
LOVE YOU SHANGELA SO GLAD ONE OF THE HEATHERS LEFT….
Shangela…you’re a STAR, baby! Don’t listen to the petty folks. Keep learning your craft and sharing what you know! You go baby!
Raja….UGH! She has a truly dynamic smile, when she uses it. But her strongest traits are her poisonous personality and her back-biting attacks on everyone else. I’d walk through a den of vipers before I’d walk through the same room with the Raja I see on the show. I can only hope its and act, and that she’s not really like that in real life.
Don’t be a hater, live and let live. Don’t like it, don’t watch. Props to Shangela…Halle-louuu!!
Halle loo you rock Shangela
alltho i love raja’s fashion…shangela is going places..an thats my favorite.
This news is AWSOME!! Of course it could go horribly wrong, but just the premise of the show is enough to get me to check it out.
I think Shangela was hated on so much b/c the other girls felt she hadn’t ‘paid her dues’ by doing drag for 10-20 years. Shangela has natural talent and the others, I think, were jealous. I know a lot of the girls on the show throw out that ‘they’re just jealous’ excuse but, in her case, I think it’s true.
Love me some Shangela Wadley!
She made Drag Race interesting, that’s for sure!! Manila though, needs to be cast in something, she’s too hilarious for words!!
LOVE Shangela, she is funny in a down to earth way, she is honest and the girl dont play, she has a lot of good things in her future.
OMG… Shangela, you go girl. I know you weren’t really interested in becoming a drag queen… I love it. I will watch faithfully every week. I love you DJ Pierce. Good luck. I hope the pilot is a winner and is picked up. Everyone knows that RuPaul has favored Raja from the beginning because she’s an old drag queen like her. Noone else had a chance.
Good for Shangela, but this show is probably going nowhere. It sounds awful and it will undoubtedly have every gay stereotype under the sun (oh wait, Mario Cantone is in the cast, it already does).
NBC will put this on the air to say, “See, we put gay-friendly shows on the air” and then no one will watch and they’ll say the market doesn’t want that anymore (completely ignoring the past success of Will & Grace).
I truly enjoy watching your show,
to the point, I wish would have female paticipants, and wish to be one of them, this would be an awesome theme, could you just imagine. Please, consider this idea.
I’m looking forward to see Shangela!
It will be a real treat to see D.J. show is acting chops and charasmatic personality.
