I think you’re missing the “point” of the TRON world. If you recall, the “ISOs” were the digital race borne out of Flynn’s creation, who became subject to CLU’s holocaust (of sorts). A bit like the birth of “Digital Darwinism”, if you will.
As such, I’ll bet my mortgage that ONE (of several) plot lines being considered for TRON 3.0/TRON: Re-Booted/TRON: Apocalypse (whatever you want to call it) will almost certainly feature the return of the ISO’s (eg. using Quorra’s “digital DNA”) to rebirth an entire race…”Bio-digital jazz, man” ! As the Big Lebowski would say…
