I saw the preview and not too excited for the next episodes. First off no Lois in the previews, ya that was promising. Then i guess another AU coming up. Hopefully this will be better than the last. I think Clois still are awesome and still have passion, they look young and hot,(FYI there the only reason im watching this show)… So hopefully there will be a POINT to bringing back Clark Luthor, maybe he will be redeemed idk. Dont really care about Tess/CL except Tess looks like she could be Clarks older sister to me, ya kinda gross now that i think about it. However Iam looking forward to Booster , to see some Clark and Lois investigating.
I hope to see some better writting too. Btw good review jeff

Great review of a lousy episode, Jeff Jensen. You’re totally right, Lois and Erica Durance deserve to be treated better than this. I’ve lost all repsect for Al Septien, the writer and director of this crapisode. He’s going to write for The Vampire Diaries after Smallville. That figures.

I hated the way that what happened to Lois was just swept under the rug with no consequences. Iconic Lois Lane (and Erica Durance) did deserve a lot better than this, I so totally agree. I have not been so impressed with Smallville since it came back from the season break. I only hope these last few episodes will be a lot better!

It was recently brought to my attention, although I never really paid much to it, that there is entirely to much background music being played in this show! Not to mention the nearly 25 minutes of commercial breaks that are taken. So, aside from the overly dramamtic music that NEVER stops and the 4-5 minutes worth of commercial breaks taken every 5-10 minutes the show has kept my interests peaked for the most part. Not crazy about the idea behind SuperBoy being half Lex though. And seeing as Clark’s beaten or will have beaten all his top enemies by the end of the show, what’s the point in in having a spin-off with Conner Kent?

THEY REALLY NEED OT MAKE JUSTICE LEAGUE ALREADY… sorry for shouting.. lol

Wear the suit and fly before the final scene of the last episode…that’s all I ask. It’ll be a huge disappointment if there’s no real SUPERMAN action after 10 years. Kinda disappointed with the 3-4 “filler” episodes this season…too much to get to to have ANY filler!

I think it’s great that Kal-el has red kryptonite to unleash the Charlie Sheen in him once in awhile, since alcohol doesn’t affect him.
About the show. I think the bottom line is, when it’s good, it’s great. Better than all of the movies because they had years to develop the characters (and they picked the right actors for sure) and build the drama. But when it’s bad, it’s downright silly. And aggravating. But, to be fair, it’s got to be difficult to sustain a limited premise over the course of 10 years, and overall, they’ve done a great job. THIS season…I’ve been more than annoyed by Clark hem-hawing around about everything, plodding through wooden lines they’ve given him, and killing episode time by saying the same things over and over, and wasting whole episodes by smooching Lois to death. Enough. Is this super mouse, or superman?
But I have a feeling the final episode will be a great resolution.

Let me amend my red K comment. The recent episode where everyone was spiked and Chloe and Clark supposedly got married….was the stupidest and most nonsensical episode of anything I’ve ever seen. And..what’s the deal with the asian scientist (forget his name) dressing like a bad Elvis wannabe, singing in a Johnny Cash style, but having Tess sing like Nancy Sinatra? The whole thing was a big fat stupid mess.

I totally agree with you. Why would Clark side with Conner so fast? Why would he not go and see how the “love of his life” was really coping after Conner almost raped/killed her? And why, oh why, would we want Conner to be a part of the Super team in such a sweep it under the rug and forget that you almost killed your foster mother way? I loved Fortune! I thought it was fun and hilarious. Sometimes you just need to have some light moments for such a dark premise this season. Thumbs up for Fortune with Thumbs down for Scion!

I like the way they put together this episode with Superboy. The transition towards the end of the series is near, but for now I’ll continue to enjoy Smallville in high quality HD from DISH Network while the show is still going. I am a customer and employee of DISH Network and I just got HD free for life and you can too! You can find more info on how to get HD free for life online at DISH Network’s official website.
