I ordered the CD and got the “Don’t You” song freed. I cannot get this tune out of my head. It is so amazing. I love David Cook’s voice and all his music and like the writer said I hope he acquires Daughtry levels of success. I can’t wait to hear the new album and am very excited that the writer shared the info about David appearing on Idol twice this season!
I am going to say there will never be an american idol like David Cook. He can sing anything and make it his own. David Cook’s version of “Don’t You Forget About Me” is great!!!! He did more than justice to the original and it ooozes sexy…I con’t wait for his new album- I loved the first one, the tour was spectacular…anytime he was sorta nearby -I had to see him. Ofcourse I’m stiil listening to all those songs + idol songs & Analog heart is great too! More David Cook Please!!!!
Too bad Idol’s voting audience isn’t more gender balanced. This years idol will be another guy, and there will be a blog just like this with comments on him all signed by girls, Amy, Peggy, Veronica, Susan, Beth, Sally, Nicki, Ashley and so on.
Some songs shouldn’t be remade. I’m just waiting for the “breakfast club” remake replete with all cheesy remakes of classic 80s songs. It’s not bad enough you have not talent, but then you have to go and mar the good name of Simple Minds in the process by your association to their work. Stick with the droning, formless EMO schtick, it’s the only thing you’re “sort of” good at.
