I really think it’s impossible for a young teen, female pop star to emerge unscathed. Being a female pop star is all about image and if you start cultivating your image at 15, chances are you will not have a firmly rooted sense of self by the time you hit 30. Britney’s mental issues and Xtina’s blatant alcoholism support this theory. All you can do is wish them the best and hope they get the help they need.
Christina has ruled my music and pop cultural world her entire career. Everything she does is just another chapter in the bio.
