You forgot to mention the other ‘fragrance’ Allergy aka Antihistamine LOL! Man I love Amy Poehler! Love Ann who’s stunned/befuddled/OMG faces made in response to something Leslie has said never ever gets old. Couldn’t care less about Rob Lowe’s character though. The only time I’ve found him funny was when he had the flu and was in the hospital…otherwise he’s always just been a filler.
Ron is easily my favorite character….
He leaves bits of steak in his mustache so they fall in his mouth over time, he doesn’t eat salad because he’s not a rabbit AND at the end of the episode he tells the waiter at the diner to bring him ALL of the bacon and eggs they have to make up for the horrible steak he was served. Hilarious!
Ron Swanson is the best character on TV, hands down.
I am new to watching Parks and Rec and I could kick myself for not watching this show sooner – absolutely hilarious, has to be one of the funniest shows I’ve seen in a long time (this and Community). I found this episode funny from start to finish! Not “flimsy” at all.
Yay, a new fan! Welcome! I recommend you check out season 2 when you have a chance.

Wow! This episode was so damn funny! My favorite moment was Ron trying to break the steakhouse door down. LMFAO! However, so many funny things happened: April and Andy with their freebie contest, Tom and Ben sort of getting along(the part where Ben went into specifics about Yoda, then Tom shouted “Shutup, you nerd!” had me in tears), Leslie and her disaster dates, Ann just realizing she got dumped, Chris using concealer and a woman’s razor, etc. WOW! So funny!!
I loved “in high school they used to call me angela lansbury…but that was because of my haircut” and when april said her name was oprah.
Seriously, off for three weeks? So it doesn’t common till January and now this? What the heck! Whats happening?!
I’m so happy this show finally returned and in top form. I really don’t get the Ann hate-how could you hate her? Also loved Rob Lowe’s character (and Adam Scott’s) so I’m glad he is sticking around.
Ron’s love of meat is still funny to me but they seem to lean on it a lot. I hope they don’t play it out.
