Anybody else grossed out that none of the utensils/cookware/plates, etc. was even washed before being used?

r u kidding me angelo? thats bull 2 weeks in a row dale stunk it up and tiif i mean beuwinkle is terrible.
It was probably the biggest shock since Jen went home. I was positive Angelo would be in the finals with Richard. I also love how people who haven’t tasted the food think they know better than the professional chefs who did taste it.
I was surprised to see Angelo eliminated. One of the most difficult concepts I have to wrap my head around is that these talented chefs cannot be judged on past performance. Their performance in each challenge must be assessed on its own merits, free from any acknowledgement of past impressions and successes or failures. I will say that in past Top Chef seasons, I am usually able to predict who will be sent packing each week. This season, however, I seem to miss the mark by a hair most of the time. I am always amazed when a contestant (like Dale) can have two bad weeks in a row (under and over-seasoning), almost get sent home, and return to win a $25,000 challenge by making food that comforted me 50 years ago after a day of ice skating.
I was not surprised at all to see Angelo go. He’s been in the back ground this entire season, so I figured his time was coming.

I’m reading your cookbook right now. Your first one…love it! I checked it out from my local library. Your outlook on life hasn’t changed and I think that makes you a really great person. I value your input on Top Chef.
