    HALEY REINHART!!!!

Great show, was relieved to have them singing on their own again. I do think a LOT of interesting people went through who $imon would have cut because he couldn’t picture selling their records. . . I like Steven, JLo and Randy much better. Giving more people a chance. It’s going to be a dynamic interesting top 24! I’m already worried about how we are going to figure out who to vote off!!

    PAUL MCDONALD! LOVE HIM!

Great talent and I mostly agree with the choices. Except that I think that Jaycee is not really a good enough singer. It does him no favors to push him forward if he is not ready due to a sympathetic back-story.

I don’t understand the appeal. There are plenty of strong young kids to chose from. He is sweet but his voice is not strong. If he makes it, VFTW is going to be all over him.

I still can’t understand how they got rid of Lara Johnston and kept some of these other girls that forgot the lyrics.

  • G-master Flex

Jacee – sympathy vote. Good kid, and he got a raw deal from his 1st group, but…

Ashton was seriously amazing and needs a ton more coverage than she is currently getting.

    • heck yeah

agree. that girl can BLOW!!! i hope she makes it far. lauren is going to win though. she’s a perfect blend of kelly and carrie. it’s gonna hppen, you heard it here first.

If by first you mean “Nigel has been pimping this girl for weeks”, then yes, I heard it here first. Expect some nasty backlash for Lauren – history has told us that the audience likes to rebel after having someone shoved down their throats too much.

Stop patting yourself on the back. Lauren is just as obvious as Carrie Underwood was. Unless she falls apart like Siobhan Magnus did, I also predict a win.

  • Sue

Don’t understand how they can let people through who forget the words to their songs!!! It’s nuts. I also think Jacee is a great kid. Give him a few years, but tonight…he should have been cut.

  • heck yeah

oh yeah, anybody see tim halperin anywhere? yesterday, today?

    • heck yeah

i went against my judgement and saw a spoiler of the top 40 contestants. IF it’s true i’m happy with it, TIMMY is still in at THIS point.

Annie, your recaps make me laugh out loud. My hubby keeps pleading with me to tell him what’s so funny.

What was up with the FOX & A I logo placement tonight? Are we really all to dumb to know what we are watching on which station?! SO DISTRACTING!

    • LeahK

They made me dumb! Its “are we really all TOO dumb…..? I could not sleep until I fixed that!

  • Wade

Tyler’s been great, pleasantly surprised by J-Lo, Randy’s still a waste of a chair. I have no prob with anyone who’s gone but some who stayed (those who forget lines entirely or kids that are just “too cute to cut”) need to be gone with them. Lotsa talent there though, we may actually get a decent winner this year. Glad the Ryan/Simon drama is dead.

what’s the update for Thia Megia..did she advanced for the next round in Vegas? Hope she will make it to the finals…Megia as 1 of the finalists makes AI worthy to watch for me…he he ..Agree?
