Justin Bieber late-night roundup: The Biebs disses Gaga's egg, teases Chelsea Handler, and touches Conan's hair

Justin Bieber has every reason to be cruising the late-night circuit. He has a movie in theaters. He’s coming off a well-received Grammy performance. And he’s, well, Justin Bieber.

On Chelsea Lately, the singer gave his frequent flirt buddy a big, wet cheek smooch before giving her a Grammy post-game of sorts. He lamented his two losses (“I’m not gonna lie. People are expecting me to say, like, something else, but I’m disappointed”) and spoke about his awkward encounter with Lady Gaga at last year’s ceremony. “She went for a hug, and I was like ‘Oh, let’s just hold up on that. You have meat on you,’” he said.

And apparently he’s not a fan of Gaga’s fashions or, erm, expressions at all, taking a jab at her egg/pod entrance this year. “People say it’s artistic and stuff, and I’m, like, ‘You’re an egg.’”

The best moment, though, came when the teen turned the tables on the witty host, poking fun at her rumored relationships.

Handler: “You’re really young and you work all the time. When do you have time to, you know, look at pictures of me?”
Bieber: “I do that all the time. You know, the ones with you and 50 [Cent] and stuff,”
Handler: [Pause] “Touché, girl.”

There was slightly less flirting when Bieber stopped by Conan and expressed their mutual hair lust. “No, no. You’ve got the amazing hair. It’s just so aerodynamic,” Bieber told Conan before running his hands through the host’s copper coiffure. How tender.

If JB continues to diss Lady Gag he has my vote!

    • Enrico

HA! LADY GAG! That’s outrageously original. No one has EVER, EVER said that. You must be so proud.

LOL it just sounds like he’s jealous that someone as ‘out-there” as her won an award and someone as mainstream as him didn’t.
Seriously? Did he really think they’d give an award to a 15 year old who sings about things he has no idea about?

      • Veronica

Exactly all he does is sing the samething over and over again. He’s just jealous that he didn’t take anything home.

I don’t really care for his music, but he’s a likeable kid. Sorry to the rest of the world for not hating him.

    • Tye-Grr

I don’t hate him either, honestly. Just his music.

    • H

Yeah, his music isn’t great (although, I’m not even gonna deny that I rock out to “Baby” from time to time) but he is an extremely likeable person.

    • Zakry

Hate him and his music. Not at all sorry about it.

I watched Chelsea Lately and he said he was upset he didn`t win. He`s not a gracious loser. I wonder if he`d be crying the blues if Drake or or somebody else won. He must`ve been delusional to think he really was gonna win, they don`t give Best New Artist to teeny boppers.

    • carly

I agree everyone on the list of best new artists had a better chance of winning them Bieber. I also find him to be incredibly arrogant for one so one and just starting out.

      • carly

Obviously I meant one so young not one so one. lol Wish there was a way to edit your comments on this site.

    • Lauren

Yeah, he didn’t win a Grammy and he’s bummed. So? Isn’t that a normal reaction? I appreciate his honesty because I don’t believe anybody who is up for an award and claims they don’t care about winning.

    • Lauren

Oh and Christina Augilera won when she was a “teeny bopper.” Remember? She beat out Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears.

  • SARIKA TAILOR

LADY GAGA IS AN AMAIZING PERSON AND BEING TRANSGENDERED I’D LIKE TO SAY THAT SHE MAKES ME FEEL SPECIAL SOMETHING WHICH NO ONE EVER HAS AND GET IT YOU WILL NEVER GET AROUND TO BEING AS FAMOUS OR AS WONDERFUL A PERSON THAT SHE IS!

    • allie

Seriously? There are so many things wrong with you, but to start, let’s maybe not scream on the blog m’kay? Thanks!

      • mark

@ allie: seriously? what the hell is wrong with YOU? Bigot.

      • Genevieve

How is Allie a bigot? All she said is that she didn’t like Sarika Taylor’s screaming. She was rude, but her comment was not biggoted at all.

    • Rania

      SARIKA TAILOR is a retard

  • blahblah

Someone really needs to bring that ignorant prick back down to the ground where he belongs. Has he seen his own style, or lack thereof?

Oh, or the fact that he fondles girls who are the same age as him, yet look like his babysitter? Grow up, oh wait, I forgot it’s asking too much of IT.

  • Alex

Regardless of whether Lady Gaga is “an amazing person,” she DID wear a dress out of meat and show up to the Grammy’s in an egg…

  • Sue

I’m liking this kid more and more. I had this stupid grin on my face after watching him on Chelsea’s show. I don’t find him arrogant at all. Just a 16 year old boy who doesn’t have the Disney machine behind him telling him how to act and what to say. It’s refreshing.

  • Kelly

So he’s arrogant because he said he was disappointed he didn’t win? Wow…… then I guess my 11 year old is a jerk for being disappointed he didn’t make the track team this year. Give me a break.

  • BlackIrish4094

After ripping on GaGa, I like the kid. He is talented too.

  • cam

talent’s overrated. sorta sick of the tastes of 10 year old girls (who like him more for his cuteness and hair flip then anything) determining our pop culture, and then the adults latching on because it’s “popular.” …nothing against him, but yeah, way overrated (guitar playing is crap, music bumble-gum palp, dancing not spectacular, voice okay but imature, etc…) yet people are acting like he’s the best music-guy to emerge in decades… let’s tone done the beiber hysteria a notch.

  • MelissaE

“Just call me Dr. Bieber.” Too funny. The Bieb is growing on me.

  • cam

oh yeah, and his thing with Usher, and his “look where I came from and look at me now; king of the world!” myth are eye-rolling corny too. the over-exposure isn’t helping his likability any either (C.S.I, Glee epsidoe, 3D movie, books, EVERYTHING).

  • Chantal

Hahaha, VERY funny what he says about Lady Gaga “You’re an egg”, I love Gaga’s music, but her costumes and props are getting overly ridiculous. And yes he is arrogant, but he is 16 and many are know it all at that age. That’s why the egg comment is even funnier, my niece said the same thing so Gaga needs to “break” out of the egg costumes as that generation are bored with it already. She is talented and has voice, she should let that shine instead.

  • Irwin Deutsch

It’s good JB was knocked down a peg – with his minimal talent. As for his opinions on LG, who cares! She has more talent in her pinky than he could ever dream of! So ‘Baby, Baby..’ you’re xx minutes of fame will be over soon, and the teenies and tweenies will find their next ‘cutie’.
