Tim Halerpin! He’s great!
Who still watches this stuff?
20+ million people at last count
you really need a new hobby.
‘This stuff’ pays for your ‘independent films and music’, nothing is free in show biz, honey
Tim Halerpin was not good at all. If he was the best in L.A then that is pretty bad. L.A was not good at all this year. They didn’t even have any sob stories. That means even the producers knew they had a lemon on their hands.
I THINK IT IS BAD WHEN THEY HAVE TO BLEEP THE CONTESTENTS BUT THE JUDGES GIVE ME A BREAK. DOSE HE NOT HAVE ANY SELF CONTROLL NOT FUN TO WATCH BRING BACK SIMON
You know Annie, you harp on the producers for playing sob stories and all their other tricks for ratings, yet you are STILL harping on the “you sing beautiful” quote from Steven Tyler. WE GET IT! He should have said “you sing beautifully”. Can we move on?
Why so serious?!?!
I feel ya. When Annie has something she thinks is cutesy in joke she just won’t let it die. That’s why I stopped reading her DWTS recaps. If I had to read about fringe one more time I was going to strangle myself with it.
I almost split a gut looking at the picture. Very, very funny!
i see idol is going back to 90% auditions, 10% good, unless of course that’s all there was!! they should never go to LA. everyone is an actor!!!
i did, however, laugh at the delusional girl chasing randy around, THAT was funny!!
that was a wasted hour of my life
Lord have mercy, allie, I thought the same thing. For all those people that were rejoicing about fewer “Train wreck” auditions, that came to an abrupt end tonight!
I liked the Hispanic female singer and I liked the Guiterrez brothers but holy cow…the rest of them…what is in the water out there? And at the end of the program they promised they were saving the best for last? San Francisco?
The only intelligent thing about it was they didn’t air LA first. I would never have tuned in again if that was the first show!
Agree. Worst one of the season. Except I taped it so I was able to skip through it in less than an hour.
Well, I DVR’d it, so I can say that at least all I wasted was about 45 minutes. Thank God. What the hell WAS that?
very smary. DVR is the way to go, clearly!
*smart
LOVE the Gutierrez brothers! They could have their own show!
Hey J. Lo–it’s me Simon, back here in the picture! This is from the Milwaukee auditions. Remember when you looked out the window and called this body of water the “ocean”? My only regret is not being there in person to mock you for it. Ah, good times.
Worst editing ever. After Karen Rodrigeuz’s performance, Sty’s comments were cut in from the day before. Nice going!
OMG can we just get to the live shows already? T E D I O U S
What was with J-Lo and that hideous scarf/do-rag?
Bad hair day? The black outfit was worse than the scarf.
Oh, you mean the black outfit with the white bra underneath? Clue in JLo!
…I actually kind of liked the scarf.
only one more audition show, then FINALLY to hollywood.
Hollywood was wacked! How many got through? Two, maybe three? That one was painful to watch.
i’m confused. did everyone in LA just suck? or is it that they returned to the old format of 10 minutes worth of good auditions and then the rest of the time is total crap? either way its annoying.
Yeah… My time was much better spent watching Vampire Diaries. I just don’t care on Thursdays. I’ll watch on Wednesdays, but especially when they get to hour long result shows that can be 30 min, I don’t care.
So…I tuned in to the last half hour while I finished preparing my belated dinner, and I think there was like one audition (those two brothers) that was at all worth hearing. I finally gave up and muted it during the older guy at the end. Were all the good people at the beginning? Was LA just a sucky audition stop? Why couldn’t the producers put more *good* people through to the judges, instead of the weird ones? Why was so much time spent on that sort-of rapping music producer? Irritating. I always used to loathe the audition episodes, but this season I was actually enjoying them because they showed a higher percentage of good singers…until tonight, I guess.
