In the 14 years since Phoebe Buffay sang her favorite Elton John, Who’s the Boss song on Friends, how many times do you think Tony Danza has endured some wise-acre ordering him to hold someone tighter? A thousand? A million? I ask because in this short FunnyOrDie clip, he sounds like a patient man who’s resigned to explaining this lyrical misconception for the hundredth time today. We’ll have to see wait and see what (the semi-NSFW) Scott & Zander’s Crazy Night is all about, but since this clip has the potential to be the greatest night-cruisin’ sing-along since Wayne’s World, I have high hopes. Take the ride below: READ FULL STORY »

'The Dark Knight Rises' Burning Questions: Where's Talia? Will Catwoman show up? And will Bane break Batman's back?
Image Credit: Albert L. Ortega/PR Photos; Landmark/PR Photos; DC ComicsInception director Christopher Nolan created a stir among movie fans today by announcing that Anne Hathaway will play Selina Kyle and Tom Hardy will play Bane in his final Batman movie with Christian Bale, The Dark Knight Rises, due in theaters in 2012. Kudos to Nolan for picking some quality talent — and for finally giving up some details about his top-secret threequel. Yet those long-awaited revelations have spawned even more mysteries, and three burning questions in particular.

Glenn Beck on 'Today': Controversial commentator compares himself to Jon Stewart, 'The Simpsons'
Fox superstar Glenn Beck appeared on the Today Show this morning to promote his new self-help book, The 7: Seven Wonders That Will Change Your Life, co-written with Dr. Keith Ablow. Host Meredith Vieira asked about Beck’s amazing transformation from suicidal sad-sack to transcendent success story, but she clearly wanted to apply the book’s lessons to the current political climate. After Beck cited compassion and truth as elements of what this country needs, Vieira pounced, reciting Beck’s own harsh rhetoric about the president and other leading Democratic politicians, and asked if Beck regretted his comments in light of the events in Tucson. “Any thing I said in jokes, no. Ask Jon Stewart [the same question]. Ask The Simpsons,” Beck said. “Comedy is comedy.” Watch the clip after the jump: READ FULL STORY »
'The Bachelor': Why are all the women so much younger than Brad? Now it can be told!
If you’ve been watching The Bachelor this season — you have been watching, right? — you may have noticed that most of the “ladies” vying for 38-year-old Bachelor Brad Womack’s heart are considerably younger than he is. We’re talking anywhere from 8 to 14 years younger. (Exhibit A: Emily, 24, seen here with Old Man River.) Of course, the Bachelor has always chosen from a bevy of younger women — it’s not like he’s going to date someone his same age or GOD FORBID older — but usually we’re looking at a 5-7 year differential. If you’ve been reading our Bachelor coverage on EW.com — you have been reading my recaps, right? — then you know that The Age Issue is a hotly debated topic among the rose-loving population. Take this comment from trania: “On average the women are more than 10 years younger. It really seems that Brad was a last-minute replacement as I find it hard to believe that the producers didn’t cast anyone within 5 yrs of Brad’s age.”
So is it true? Did ABC cast this season of “ladies” based on the age of their first-choice Bachelor, 33-year-old Chris Lambton, who made it to the final two in last year’s season of The Bachelorette? Or does Brad Womack just like ‘em young? According to a source close to the show/Brad’s libido, the answer is… a little of both. Some of the women appearing on the current season were in fact cast for Chris L., including 25-year-old Shawntel the funeral director (not to be confused with 28-year-old Chantal, the woman who slapped Brad on night 1). But then Chris L. wisely turned ABC down on the first day of casting, so Team Bachelor had to course-correct… a bit. According to the show source, they continued to cast young women once Brad was chosen as the Bachelor, because that’s what Mr. Womack wanted. To quote EW.com’s Mandi Bierly, it’s yet another reason to knee him in the nuts.
What say you, rose lovers? Are you surprised by this “news”?
Royal wedding to be celebrated with TLC 'Hoarding' special. Oh, and possibly filmed in 3-D.
Image Credit: Ben Stansall/AFP/Getty ImagesAs the wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton gets closer, we look forward to press releases announcing how cable networks plan to cash in. Today’s winner comes from TLC, which announces a week-long royal-themed programming event that kicks off Sunday, April 24. Among the offerings, “Royal editions of some of TLC’s most popular series, including a special that focuses on both British and American hoarders and extreme collectors of royal memorabilia” and “a special round table discussion with Royal experts and a celebrity host, leading into the network’s live early morning coverage of the event Friday, April 29.” The network rationalizes its full-court press because this is a wedding, and it airs wedding shows. Though I doubt we’re getting a special edition of Say Yes to the Dress with Middleton.

'The Good Wife': Which is the best storyline right now?
Image Credit: CBSIf you watched last night’s episode of CBS’ The Good Wife, you know that Alicia (Julianna Margulies) and Will (Josh Charles) are waiting for ”things to calm down” before she asks him that all-important question (about the second voicemail he left her in the season 1 finale, which she never heard). You also know that Will has just realized that Derrick (Michael Ealy) played him, plotting to not only vote out Diane (Christine Baranski), but also Will eventually — so that’s probably going to be a while. Here’s what’s interesting: As much as I love those loaded looks between Will and Alicia, I’m suddenly preferring the ones between him and Diane. I did some actual fist-pumping when Will had his second lunch date with Diane, told her they were both lying during their first one, revealed Derrick’s plan, and suggested they make Derrick think he’s still going along with it while he and Diane move against him.
Diane: “Okay.”
Will: “Okay.”
Diane [smiling]: “Let’s not bicker anymore.” READ FULL STORY »
