This just in: I’m still loving the chemistry between Oscar hosts James Franco and Anne Hathaway. Maybe it’s because they’re both probably scared to death — and we know how fear brings people together courtesy of The Bachelor — but I’m getting a real team vibe from them, and I dig it. The latest promo shows them rehearsing the invite for viewers to tune in for the Oscar show. Hathaway chokes. Which one of them do you think will flub a line first on Oscar night (as adorably as Andrew Garfield did at the Golden Globes)?Â

I hope the performances aren’t as awkward as Amy Adams performing for Enchanted. And that they utilize the lantern idea for the set – that would be totally gorgeous.
Yikes, don’t give me flashbacks to that performance. It was so awkward, like they couldn’t give Amy Adams anything to work with. I don’t even recall any painted backdrop. It was just- bad.

Davey, they would make a nice couple- both super smart, articulate, and mega- talented.
Hugh Jackman is a presenter at this year’s Oscars. Some people are saying Jackman may be a surprise performer with Anne- similar to the time Hugh hosted the Oscars.
On the other post, I mentioned that Anne Hathaway has great chemistry with everyone: Meryl Streep, Stanley Tucci, Emily Blunt, Patrick Wilson, Chris Pine, Hugh Jackman, Jim Sturgess ( their movie kissing photos are to die for !) , Jake Gyllenhaal, Topher Grace, Steve Carell, James McAvoy, Charlie Hunnam, and now James Franco. Besides her many talents, Hathaway’s incredible chemistry sets her apart from many actors.
