Marie, it’s a show. People are clueless. What he did and is doing is occurring in real life. Image someone did it to you, ouch! His TV show was good. It doesn’t mean he can behave like a disrespectful pig. This isn’t the first time either.
If Kelsey had been smart he would have laid low after Camille made an ass of herself on RHoBH and everyone would have been on his side. But he can’t seem to keep his mouth shut about his “love” and his behavior is totally tasteless and insensitive. I’d say Camille has the upper hand at this point (and I can’t stand her).
HE can’t keep his mouth shut? Are you kidding? Camille is the one who has been doing talk shows and talking crap about him. Kelsey talked about Kayte, not Camille. Camille should have had the same amount of decency. Hey, the heart can’t help what the heart wants. It takes TWO to make and break a marriage. Camille needs to own her responsiblity for the break of her marriage.
This is Kelsey’s very public midlife crisis (disaster). He became unhappy with Camille in the las two years (according to what their mutual friends have related to Camille), which coincides with Kelsey’s health crisis on the heels of two failed post-Frasier sitcoms. I believe he became depressed and Kayte allows him to feel he is turning back the clock. That’s my dime-store analysis (Neither frasier or niles could have done better!)
Btw, anyone notice Kelsey has absolutely nothing to promote as La Cage is ending in two weeks, yet he went on both Letterman and Regis and Kelly on the exact same days his wife is on tv. Coincidence? I think not!
I think his comment in the video says it all – “when I started the show, it came along at a time when I WANTED a change in my life.” Seriously? He “WANTED” a change? He was married for Pete’s sake. He has children. I have no respect for Kelsey or Kayte. It all should have been done in private. Kelsey encouraged Camille to do RHOBH fully knowing he was going to leave her and it would be on TV. He cares very little for her feelings and the feelings of his children. He also used La Cage as an excuse to leave her. What a D-bag. Actually I don’t think much of any of the parties involved – including the people who allowed Kelsey a platform to spew his BS.
I do not ever condone cheating on your spouse but let’s face the truth. Camille loved her lifestyle more than she loved her husband. She claims she is not a liar, yet she lied throughout the entire show. Had she moved to NYC to be with her husband instead of complaining about how small the apartment was, perhaps he never would have sought out attention from another woman. Camille was constantly flirting with other men and kissing them on the lips. She was not called all of the names that Andy mentioned simply due to “poor editing”. Camille said and did things that made people hate her behavior. I for one, am happy that Kelsey found a woman that will give him the attention his wife did not. Life is too short to live with someone that doesn’t respect and love you.
Whatever happened to getting divorced if u r unhappy in ur marriage and then finding a girlfriend, getting married and have children. The whole system of right and wrong is out of sync with kelsey gramner. It is easy to see how he could be unhappy with camille, but he went about things in the wrong way. And if he wanted more love and happiness, what about the two precious children who ran to greet him on one of the episodes. They appeared to adore him and we know they need him. Not sure about camilles maternal abilities since she didnt even carry these children as a mother does. There may not be a bond there. Pray for the two children, mason and jude, as they are the ones to suffer.
The writing was on the wall. If Camille and Kelsey have not had sex for at least two years, of course he is going to find it in another woman. When one partner takes the other for granted, then that person leaves. I see it all the time. And then the person who gets left behind wonders what happened. They’re blind to reality.
Wishy is right on. She can’t concieve because of IBS? Hires a woman to have their children and no sex in 2 years, (at least with her husband.)
