O-Town reunion: No Ashley? No point.

Ashley-Parker-AngelImage Credit: Bryan Bedder/Getty Images So Ashley Parker Angel has decided to let the impending O-Town reunion I gushed about last week continue without him. I hope that’s not so he can grow his hair out again and make more surprisingly alt-rock singles like “Let U Go.” I jest. I liked “Let U Go,” except for the erroneous text spelling of “you” — an act that always makes my blood boil. I stand by my statement about the hair, though.

Anyway, the “news” leads me to question the point of a reunion without Ashely. (Skeptics will say there was no point of an O-Town reunion was in the first place. To them, I say, Pffft, bitches.) Who else is left? Introspective “thinker” Jacob? Erik who hyphenated his first name? Dan? Other guy who doesn’t own any shirts with sleeves? No thanks.

Short point here: Now that APA has bowed out, this former teenybopper is boppin’ out of this reunion bandwagon.

Now I’ve got that O-Town song stuck in my head: “Cause I want it all
    Or nothing at all
There’s no where left to fall
When you reach the bottom it’s now or never….”. God, boy bands are crap, but they do have some catchy songs.

Now I’ve got that song in my head! LOL!

There really was very little point to do this reunion in the first place. They weren’t even a fraction as popular as BSB or NSYNC. But yeah, without Ashley, it seems extremely pointless.

I think that the Internet rumors were hoping for an O-Town reunion. It’s different when it’s said on the internet that actually coming from group members themselves.

As someone who was in love with him when O Town was big (and who loved him as Link in Hairspray) I have to agree.

Album in both my Ipods! Plus Ashley Angel’s Single Album! Big Fan homey, & from the ghetto, East Harlem NY stand up!

I’m all for reuniting boy bands (more, please) but with their complete line-up!

You know, outside of BSB and nsync, the rest of the boy bands seemed like watered down imitations of what has already been done much better.

I know O-town had its fans, but I just never got their appeal.

    • Lana

YOu realize that BSB and Nsync are watered down versions of what had already been done right?

      • Al

They are all watered-down versions of Motown, which was a watered-down version of R&B.

      • Kesia Monteith

which was also known as “Rhythm and Blues” before it became so-called “R&B”.

He was good in Clone High.

  • Al

It was never the same without Ikaika, anyway.

    • Nerdista

Ikaika is in a Christian boyband now, so you can still get your fix!

    • MJ

      OMG AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I loved Ikaika’s attitude. He just didn’t give a f*ck

  • Sean

They sucked, suck and will always suck

  • lol

They need to sit their arses down somewhere.

  • Nerdista

I still have “We Fit Together” on my iPod. I totally forgot all the other guys names though!

  • e4ia

I hope that this means Ashley Parker Angel will be making a new solo album. His last one was actually really good.

  • Well…

Why bother? Americans would be better served just catching up on Take That. Infinitely better than anything we have come up with here. I’m looking at you, NKOTBSB.

  • Zach

These guys weren’t even in the same league as 98 degrees, let alone BSB and Nsync. O-town sucked. They had the one hit song, and one semi popular song.
