Gwen Stefani strikes a pose for L'Oreal Paris

Gwen Stefani is following in the paths of Jennifer Lopez, Eva Longoria, and Beyoncé Knowles as a cover girl for L’Oréal Paris. People reported that the pop star had signed a deal with the cosmetic giant, and confirmed that she’ll initially be hawking Le Rouge lip color (which we’ll have to take on faith, based on this black-and-white photo). Her first L’Oréal television commercial will debut this weekend, during the Golden Globe Award show.

Did you consider Stefani a lipstick glamour-girl? Does her cred actually enhance the L’Oreal brand?

  • Ingrid

    heck yes. :D

Totally supporting this. Saw some pictures of her filming a L’Oréal commercial in front of the Hollywood sign a few weeks ago, I’m stoked!

YES,I think Gwen will definitely enhance the brand-one of her trademarks is her red lipstick. That first photo is gorgeous-much congratulations to Gwen!!

Gwen is a poor choice. Girl hasn’t changed her look in over a decade, let alone her lipstick. Plus she’s pretty much yesterday’s news and is not an interesting choice in the least.

Disagree. There’s a reason why she hasn’t changed her look after all these year, it’s because her look is effortlessly amazing and timelessly cool. She’ll always look exponentially better than Rihanna and Lady Gaga who has to change their look every hour, and there’s a definite reason why. Wearing lace or meat over your face tends to fade out of style quick.

I love Gwen and that she has stayed true to her look over the years. She is an excellent choice for any cosmetics brand.

Gwen will cease being “yesterday’s news” when the new Do Doubt album is released in June. L-Oreal is getting ahead of the game by putting her up front now.

gwen is a great choice. she has more solid credit to her name than jennifer lopez, and certainly eva longoria. she channels timeless, classy beauty, which i think lends itself well to a beauty campaign.

I was so excited to hear Gwen was doing the new commercial. Her signature look is red lipstick, and she has become one of the most known celebrities for it. She is one of the most georgeous women I have ever saw. I think it was a great choice to add Gwen to the lineup. SO excited to see the finished product! :D

Okay she loves that red lipstick bt I can’t picture her as a L’Oreal woman. She doesn’t have that “divattitude” .

  • MeGS

I believe Gwen Stafani is an excellant choice! for she isnt your typical ‘diva’ she is truly everyone womans- woman!

  • Beth

LOVE Gwen. She is my age but doesn’t look a day over 30…and doesn’t look like she’s been nipped and tucked like most other celebrities. Her trademark is red lips and she wears it better than anyone.
