Josh Groban (with the help of Jimmy Kimmel) has a meme on his hands: singing Kanye West’s tweets. Hearing the crooner belt out “Man… whatever happened to my antique fish tank?” is truly a treat like none other.
Kanye’s poetic musings have been taken out of context before, of course. First there was the #kanyenewyorker meme, in which West’s tweets were juxtaposed with New Yorker cartoons. Then there was adding “Liz Lemon” before the tweets, which made West a real-life Tracy Jordan. I’m still a little sad that tweets-over-pictures of-Seinfeld meme didn’t take off, but Groban’s voice is soothing the pain away.

Josh Groban is a stealth hilarity machine.
His Christmas album actually brought wistful tears to my eyes, and then he goes and does s*** like this, or singing the South Park theme at the Emmys or being stalked by a teacher on Glee, and he wins me over again in a whole other way. I’m kinda crushing on Groban.
I also was thoroughly delighted when he popped up in the “I’m F—ing Ben Affleck” video.
