Every January, gyms and health clubs are full, by Ground Hog Day, back to the regular crowd.
Dayum Annie. I HEART U.
Serious, I am watching this show, this young woman has a horrible, fake-supportive mother who is undermining her at every single step. What a nightmare! Good thing she’s a strong young woman.
Is it me, or is the amount she lost, 253-165 (90lbs) in 111 days (roughly 3.5 month) a little excessive? I mean that’s about 6 lbs a week when health professionals usually recommend 2 lbs a week.
I feel either MTV screwed some numbers around (weight loss or the number of days) or girl got surgery.
And if she did lose all that weight in aboutin that short month, she must have been on a very stringent and intense fitness routine. Don’t think that’s a positive message to send to teens. Sets the bar way to high and might lead to unhealthy diet. But hey, for a show like this you need to see dramatic results right? Think Biggest Loser. But they go on strict diets and workout all day!!! Don’t think she did that, or anyone in real ife can.
ohhh. Thanks Annie…I’m beyond MTV’s target demo so I have no idea what they even program but this show looks like awesome wrapped in fabu to me! I’m so there.
I am so inspired by that young lady’s journey. Even though I sat through two bowls of applejacks as I watched the show; I identified with the self loathing and so desperately want have a lifestyle change before I turn 40!
Go Gabby!
It should be called “I Used to be Fatter” Cause they’re still fat after they lose weight.
That show doesn’t seem like it will work. Sure the teens will lose their weight in a short amount of time, but when they don’t have their trainer anymore, they will probably gain it right back.
