This montage of 270 of the films that came out in 2010 is nine kinds of wonderful. I was feeling sort of blah on the year that was, but the way this is put together makes me think we had a year of solid genius.

I know right. That was freaking awesome. I was under the impression A LOT of this year’s movies sucked…this shows that good editing and music goes a loooong way.

Nice but would be better if the had the names of the movies on each little clip. It would help in discovering films you missed that look intriguing.

These end-of-the-year mash-ups are always terrific, but I definitely wouldn’t go so far as to say “we had a year of solid genius.” No, 2010 still sucked, but this video was great.
Oh, not that it takes away from the video at all, but didn’t THE LOVELY BONES, HALF-BLOOD PRINCE and DEFENDOR come out last year?

Dumbledore’s death scene, while technically from Half-Blood Prince, did appear several times in Deathly Hallows: Part 1. I’m assuming that’s what Free is referring to.
On the maker’s YouTube description is the following explanation:
“My film selection process was fairly open; anything that was either produced or distributed in 2010 was fair game (I also consulted this Wikipedia entry). This is why some movies are labelled 2009 or 2011 on IMDB. Also, this by no means constitutes a comprehensive list of films that came out in 2010. That would have been exhausting”
Lovely Bones came out early this year.
The Lovely Bones came out in February…it was awhile ago, but it’s still 2010. And that shot of Dumbledore is also in Deathly Hallows.
There are SO many movies that came out this year that I totally forgot about like Scott Pilgrim VS. the World, Get Him to the Greek, Iron Man 2, etc. It seems so long since those films were released.

The video was great. But it just reminds me of how many shitty movies we had this year. This is probably one of the worst years for film in a long time
