Paul Rudd's 'SNL' promos: Santa!

Paul Rudd is hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend, and if these promos with Andy Samberg are any indication, we’re in for a treat. (Also, attention fellas: Wear more sweaters with hearts on them. So cute!) Seriously, though, I’m am all about these promos:

Paul, take off your jacket and stay a while!

Rudd hosted in 2008, an episode probably best remembered for its “Single Ladies” video, which Rudd only played a small part in.

I’m hoping we get to see Rudd poke some fun at his super-nice-guy image. What do you want to see, PopWatchers? Saaahhnnntaaa?

This is the most excited I’ve been about SNL since the last JT hosted episode. Paul Rudd can do no wrong in my book. Love. Him.

I hope they make this episode have a lot of christmas themes!!!

    LOVE Paul Rudd!

Allow me to be the first this week to state, “Kristin Wiig sucks.”

    Thank you!

Yes and you should be the last as well, cause she is def one of the funniest women in the world and def one of the funniest snl cast members.

If you sit stone-faced through the entirety of ROLE MODELS, there must be something wrong with you. Paul Rudd’s awesome, but will SNL do him any favors regarding good material?

I’m keeping my fingers crossed. It seems like they save their best material for the actors who really know what to do with it. Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s episode last year had some great stuff, and Anne Hathaway’s episode this year was awesome. They’re both incredibly versatile, and they were given a lot to work with. Here’s hoping that Paul Rudd gets the good stuff too!

Love Paul Rudd, but this promo displays everything that’s wrong with SNL, they simply don’t know when to quit or stop the joke. It goes on for too long and sucks all the funny out of it.

Paul Rudd & Paul McCartney!? Bring your A-game SNL…

No mention of Sir Paul, Margaret? THAT’S the reason why I’ll be watching this week’s SNL!

I loved Paul Rudd the last time he hosted (well, I actually love him in EVERYTHING) and Sir Paul makes it a must watch. I also can’t wait for Jeff Bridges to host. Also, is it wrong that the teeth thing reminded me of the episode of Friends where Ross leaves the teeth whitening on too long (because, of course, Paul Rudd was Mike on Friends)?

Anne Hathaway better get an Emmy nomination for her brilliant performance(s) on SNL a few weeks ago. This is why she received the Oscar co-hosting job. She put most male SNL guest host and older SNL guest host to shame- even surpassing Jon Hamm & Betty White. I truly hope Anne has a long film career because she proved her genius on SNL. She is a very gifted character actress in the tradition of Lily Tomlin, Carol Burnett, and Tracey Ullman.

P.S. I want to see Rachel McAdams, Natalie Portman ( previous host) , Carey Mulligan, Amy Adams( another previous host) or Michelle Williams do the wonderful job Anne did on SNL. Not going to happen in this lifetime. Hathaway is simply the best young A-list actress in Hollywood. Anne truly needs to do a feature film musical with Justin Timberlake.

If these promos are any indication, SNL might actually be funny for once!

I LOVE Paul Rudd; this should be awesome!!! I’d also really like to see Vince Vaughn host SNL at some point.

I’m really excited for this episode.
I absolutely love Paul Rudd and he’s hilarious, so I have high expectations for this episode.
