As Twilight Zone as this season has been, I still luv, luv, luv! My Survivor!

    • MeLoveJane

Me too, Roy P. I watched the last episode for teh third time last night. (On Demand). I made an effort to watch more TV and tuned it to 30 Rock. Very interesting. Ever watch it?

      • ROY P.

@MeLoveJane: I also don’t watch much TV, and I’ve never caught an episode of 30 Rock although it seems to get plenty of press. I guess I’ll check it out to see what all the fuss is about. See ya after the final Wednesday episode of Survivor. Let’s hope its a great setup for a fantastic finale.

        To Roy P.,
30 Rock is a sitcom about the making of show that is similar to Saturday Night Live. Tina Fey (the comedienne who lampooned Sarah Palin is the star) and Alec Baldwin also stars. Who knew Alec Baldwin could be really really funny?

Going back to last weeks quitters:

Maybe if you stopped casting people who are just sitting on a bus bench, shopping at a supermarket or eating dinner at a resturant to be on the show and cast the people who apply and really want to be on the show, then we wouldn’t have these problems with people quitting.

You start off with a good 1st season then the Hollywood idiots with all their stupidity and know how, ruin it by casting people who really don’t want to be on the show, for the right reasons.

Keep up the good work. Maybe you can ring another year out of it.

Hey Ali G, Mrs. Echo, yes you’re incrediable deduction is correct. There are six people left. How on earth did you know that?

Has anyone checked out CBS Youtube? It shows Benry and Jane at night time. It appears that Jane had stolen an egg, cooked it, and was eating it while the rest of the camp was asleep. She appeared to be laughing while doing it. Why is this the first time the producers have released it? The producers seem to be trying to discredit her. I believe that they are trying to place in doubt her honesty to off set her claim against Sash this Wednesday night. We may never know, because Jeff had them stop filming during tribal counsel. Watch closely Wednesday night and see if you can pick up the moment when Jeff stops counsel. I would be very surprised if Jeff mentions what happened in his Thursday blog.

Interesting comment, Soap. I agree, that would have been a great piece of footage to put in the actual episode. Much better than yet another snake montage.

Jane said that Sash offered to pay off the mortgage on her home and business. In exchange she was to vote for him to win the million dollars and to work the rest of the jury to convince them to vote for him also. Jeff at that time said “Stop the camera and lets get a producer in here”. If this was true, it violates one of the basic rules of Survivor. By posting the Youtube of Jane taking and eating the egg, the producers are laying the groundwork to discredit Jane and make the incident appear to be a “He said, She said” thing. The producers simply are thinking that the fans who watch won’t be able to figure it out. My guess is that Jeff if he addresses it at all, will use the same type of explaination regarding why they did what they did as he used to explain why the two quitters were allowed to be on the jury.

@Soap: I see exactly what you mean about the tribal council looking like it got cut off. Jane said she was gonna “call everyone out” and then only called out Holly. Now I’m so curious about (a) what else she said about the other tribe members and (b) how the heck you got that info?

  • Meme

Despite my best efforts to avoid spoilers I got them thanks to your production crew. Who else would know what happened when the cameras were turned off? FFS this person has done in the last three seasons of Survivor, can’t you guess who it is by now???

All I can say thanks to them is I don’t understand why you focused on JJ and I don’t care who wins. That what you were going for?

  • Cowcharge

I can’t read any comments on here any more because of spoilers, but I think the quitters should have to enter Tribal first (since the earlier, lower-ranked vote-outs enter first, and the quitters are certainly lower lifeforms than anyone who got voted out, and assuming there’s no way to get rid of them), and be introduced as the quitters. Or the Stupid Quitters. They should only get half a vote each.

This game should be called “Alliance of Liars” there is no “surviving”, as there was in the initial seasons.
I will laugh during the last finale that I ever watch, when DAN wins. he has fooled everyone that he isn’t a threat. he’s done NOTHING to help anyone. He’s been a dutiful sheep, and will be revealed as the wolf in the end.

    • Skyler

@Maryellen: Oh come now, Survivor has always had a lot of scheming.

  • Jeff Probst

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know I hear ya and we will have a special “surprise” for the two quitters at the reunion show.

    Jeff

I felt for Jane @ her last TC. Jeff was trying to engineer some help – he is really stepping up. Fab and Dan must not have followed as Jeff always tries to create drama by the order the votes are read – but here he did not read Jane’s vote – so it MUST have been the only one not for her. That means that ol Sash has secret alliances with virtually everyone and they all believe that he will take them to the final 3. His backstabbing on Brenda did not hurt, asI thot it would. Fabio’s crying was telling. He is letting on that he is smarter than the ‘surfer dude’ persona that he portrayed, very well.; At least Naoinka did not interrupt Jeff and try to take over the mike.

I think Jane forgot that she was playing Survivor
it became increasingly hard for her to compete so she became dependent on others to get to the end…you can’t rely on others in that game.
I think the theme for this season’s game is “Resentment”…it has permeated this game.
