I haven’t watched lately to check up on it, but didn’t Sarah have some pretty heinous bangs this season on Brothers & Sisters?
Sarah Michelle Gellar, Buffy season 3, mid-season Christmas-y time. Only wore those Baby Bangs for one or two eps before someone spoke up and they started clipping them to the side. They were HORRIBLE.
Also, Angelina Jolie, circa RIGHT NOW.
I was going to say that! I just watched the Christmas episode “Amends” from Buffy S3 and her bangs were atrocious! Tiny, too short bangs should be outlawed!
I totally agree. Seeing Buffy’s uber-short bangs always take me out of that episode, which otherwise is really good. I remember seeing the promos for the episode, after a few week long hiatus, and that’s all I could focus on. Thank god they didn’t last long.
Mandy Moore’s bangs in A Walk To Remember deserve a serious nod. What was the purpose of that? I think they were trying to make her look all homely and introverted with weird slightly greasy bangs. And worse when they would pin them back with a barratte! NO!
AGREED! Those were brutal! So unattractive.
I think Elisabeth Moss actually needs bangs, just not those. She has a giant forehead, which I find just as distracting as bad bangs. I happen to need bangs, and as long as they’re brushing my eyebrows, they look damn good!
Lily on How I Met Your Mother in the 3rd (or 4th?) season. Not good.
Meredith Grey circa seasons 2-5ish. I just wanted to reach through the TV and give her a bobby pin!!
Not so much infuriating but made me laugh – Catherine O’Hara in Waiting For Guffman. Her bangs got worse as the movie went on!
i think it was season 4 when buffy got super short hideous bangs, and they were featured in all of the commercials on the wb
Laura in the movie “High Fidelity” has the most ridiculously short bangs ever! Not as mainstream but definitely as horrible!!

Christina Aguilera’s bangs in Burlesque are the most offensive ones I’ve seen recently.
I am also voting for Alyssa Milano on Charmed. Those bangs were TERRIBLE!!! It was almost like she got gum in her hair and they needed a fix STAT!
i actually like Brennan’s bangs, if she sweeps them to the side a bit.
