Ivanka Trump blogs 'The Apprentice': Episode 12

Remember the three hour finale that went on and on like War and Peace. That was too much; however, this finale was too little. An hour and a half special with an audience would’ve done the job. It makes me think no one at NBC cares about the Apprentice anymore. Where was the energy that you would get at the end of Survivor, a show with a loyal following, which the Apprentice should still have? I always felt The Apprentice never needed a Ryan Seacrest type character, but now I think differently, and now it is too late to make a change like that because of the way the franchise has been botched up over the years.

It was truly a cynical ending in the way Clint was treated. Why didn’t he get to say some final words with an audience cheering him on? I would bet a lot of money a live audience would’ve been going nuts for Clint, and that would made for great television. No secret, I liked Clint more, and I would’ve picked him based solely on the way he executed the Kardashian Perfume Display. Does Trump not remember that demonstration of creative thinking? Does Trump not remember who won Celebrity Apprentice last season: a Rock Star that definitely does not fit the corporate mold. And you know something, he picked the person with the most heart and grit and it was touching, great and all those other adjectives, a welcome relief over Holly Robinson

And you, Ivanka, why do you have to be such a cliché elitist? People do talk like that in Texas and it doesn’t make them unable to do the job. And I am sure he could have learned to adapt to your way of talking if you hired him, so stop talking down to people that way. Not everyone comes from your world or education. For someone who is so smart, you have a lot to learn about people. I will watch the Apprentice again in whatever format you present it, but my wife said she’s done with it. She did not feel Clint deserved your scorn.

More about Pretty Face Brandy and her indecisive ways: If she didn’t like the cheap golf clubs, she should’ve sent them back for an exchange. It really isn’t that hard. Admit it, she was not well organized with Kathy Griffin. Luckily, Ms. Griffin was a good sport and flexible. Also, with the way things are going, putting working for the U.S. Senate on your resume is a detriment.

Clint deserved to win – no doubt!!! Apprentice should be a person who has CONSISTENTLY performed well, not just someone who has been smart (read manipulative) about working the political situation with her fellow colleagues…Clint just outshone Brandy on every task and its sad that someone with an enterprise as global as Trump could not find use for him in parts of his organization that do not need the political savvy (which he has, just to a lesser extent than Brandy!!).
