    Is ballet the new Twilight?

    No.

Yes how is ballet the new twilight!! That makes no sense at all. And ballet has be popular for a long time; the revival of vampires has only been here for a short while. So yeah ballet isn’t the new twilight, ew just wants to promote it!!

I think it’ll be fun to watch Ballet take a dark turn.

I wanted to do ballet when I was younger but I was always on the chunkier side. I was able to do gymnastics. But…I dont think I would have done well as a Ballerina. But I had tutus and dressed up as one of course.

I’ve never danced and wouldn’t be able to, even with training. But I’ve always been intrigued by the world of dance. I love Center Stage (no matter how cheesy it might be). And as disturbing as I’ve heard Black Swan is, I still can’t help but want to see it.

This article just gave an idea to an aspiring screenwriter: Vampire Ballet.

Wow, I’m all for ridiculous analogies, but really now? Glittery vampires = glittery outfits? As a former ballarina you ought to be ashamed of comparing the two. Kristen Stewart has no expression. Natalie Portman is an amazing actress. Twilight takes something dark and romantic and makes it hokey and uninspired. Black Swan is taking something that is often seen as just silly and showing the dark dark side of it. And might I add that Chloe Moretz is shaping up to be 10 times the star Dakota Fanning is…and I really like Dakota Fanning too. Seriously though, this is just stupid.

A writer’s credibility is severely tarnished every time Kanye West is mentioned.

i dont know i think ballet is great ive done it for 12 years and really enjoy it i mean there are risks and pain but the pain is mostly soreness and having to push through exercises but if you have a great teacher like me they will appreciate your effort and make it known, like thursday, we had to do a really long exercise about 4 minutes long of just holding yourself up on one foot and i couldnt take it anymore but i still pushed through and my teacher yelled ” YES! THATS WHAT IM LOOKING FOR GREAT JOB!!” and clapped. but it also takes gut stermination and love for the sport and physical fintess whick i acheive by working out not starving myself beacause 1. thats the easy way 2. just by missing lunch you loose tons of energy you need. it all depends on what your personality is like. ballet is not for everyone.
