On last night’s part 1 of the season 11 finale (it never ends! but it will tonight), Lacey Schwimmer and Kyle Massey, Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough, and Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas danced a “redemption” routine and a freestyle in their ongoing quests for the COVETED MIRRORBALL TROPHY. Who will reign supreme as the Thing of Bling in tonight’s part 2 of the finale? (“Thing” seemed like the best rhyming choice in lieu of “King,” which seemed limiting. But seriously why do I even need to be rhyming here? I definitely don’t.) Will it be Jen/Mirror, Kyle/Silver, and Bristol/Bronze as the medal stand-esque image to your right vaguely suggests? I tried to vote last night. Couldn’t get through on the phones. My text messages kept bouncing back. Tried to login to the website for two hours, unsuccessfully. Not happy.
Jennifer will win. She got the highest scores, and Dial Idol placed her at the top vote getter.
Having said that, Kyle SHOULD win.
(Totally ignoring the third finalist).
The voting last night was ridiculous. I called, repeatedly hitting redial, for the allotted time, and never got through once. Could not log onto abc.com, either. It’s really frustrating. We were told repeatedly to vote for our favorites, not to assume a victory or loss, and yet when push came to shove, abc could not get their heads out of their butts to accommodate all the voters. I have never had that happen before.
Enjoyed watching all of them all season. All seem like really nice people.
Since this is not a vote to save but for a winner. I would vote Jennifer. but I enjoyed seeing Bristol improve week to week. I think most people would if they are not obsessed with outside issues.
I actually DESPISE her mother and think Bristol looks like she smells (sorry, it’s hard to describe), but I kind of enjoyed her free-style and thought she hit some great poses that made it actually look like she knew what she was doing. But yeah, she should have gone home weeks ago and more than her lame mother I don’t like her because she is NOT a “star”.
Get Help, Not sure what you need maybe just some good clam friends.. I can’t think of anyone outside of murderers that I dispise. I follow politics enough to know I don’t trust some people’s judgement, some that I think are in general nice people.
For you to feel that way about someone that you have never talked to and has never killed a person sounds like your life is out of balance.
I wish they had done three of the four dances last night instead of 2 yesterday and 2 today. Go Jennifer!
I am sick of Jennifer’s “Patrick” sad stories & her back problems. If she was hurt as bad as she says, she would not be dancing (or atleast it would show that she is hurt) It is all just for sympathy votes. Enough already! If she would have never brought all that up, I’d be voting for her. But since show one, she lost my respect.

As much as I can’t stand her smug, pretentious “teen activist” face and DO NOT THINK SHE SHOULD WIN, I think she’ll win anyway. It’s going to be entertaining watching the riots and looting as our country implodes.

Simply put: this show was never meant to be a political forum (which is what it has become, and what has ruined it).
It was supposed to be about DANCING and that journey- not about making anyone’s head explode.

no it was never supposed to be political…but the moment people started to claim that Bristol was still there was because of politics, it became just that. I understand that because of how the voting works all Bristol (or anyone for that matter) needs to do is get 2% more of the voting public than the others to win…think of it 2% is not that much, hardly a conspiracy, hardly political…and it’s a dancing show for crying out loud…no heads need to explode now or ever…it’s a dancing show.

After all what does the word judge mean to decide who did the best. not how many calls someone gets she should never of got as far as she did so if your just counting call in and not how well someone can dance then I feel it cheating cause of your mother. Big shot Sara Palin. Oh and another thing the show is called dancing with the stars. How is Bristol a star cause she got herself knocked up as a teenager and now she is telling other teens not to do the same. come on that does not make anyone a star.

Sorry, but Bristol is Not still on the show because “lots of people like her.” While I have no issues with the girl, she’s still on the show because Momma Palin, the Teabags and other conservative activists have turned this Political. It’s really a shame too. Bristol gets grumpier by the week, is being bashed for something her mother is doing, and is under the delusion she’s there because so many people like Her. While there are some folks who do, she’s on the show because Mom has turned this into a Political contestant. Bristol should’ve told Mom to butt out and let her win or lose on her Own merits. Instead, we have conservative web sites telling people how to Game the system to get in more votes than allowed. It’s a Reality Dance Show, People!! Unfortunately, Sarah Palin thinks it’s an indicator of her chance to become President. How Pathetic and Sad!!

I can only speak for myself, but I won’t ever watch again anyway. The only reason I watched this season was to laugh at how bad Bristol is…at everything. If she wins, the show is rigged.
Just lookin forward to the end of this season. No more Jennifer crying her way to the title, Derrick gets the best partner again! This season cant be taken seriously sooner its over the better!
Amen. So sick of this season, all the crap being flung at BP and all the crying over JG. I’ve been rooting for Kyle from the start. At least he is fun and seems to really enjoy himself. But the sooner this season is over, the better. But I’m afraid we will hear about the outcome for a long time, no matter who it is or isn’t.

Seriously – Bristol is as personality-free as she is dance-challeged (or talent-challenged as Mama Palin called American Idol contestants.). If she had shown some real gumption or determination, let alone joy or fun, I might have rooted for her like I did for Kelly.
But the judges really need to be addressed with their kid-glove handling of her. I can’t believe that they gave her leaden, dull, flat-footed jive the same score as Kyle’s foxtrot. WTF???? And they always compliment her, no matter what. Not the same treatment for Brandy, Kurt or Rick.
The judges and producers all got the final they wanted. And now I’m done with DWTS since they want to make it a political farce instead of light entertainment. Good liuck next season,
Once again, Bristol gets the lowest scores, but, hey, that doesn’t mean anything. She is a real “klutz” on the dance floor, but Mama Grizzly is on the sidelines, and the cameras have to zoom in on her !!!! They, and the show are a complete JOKE !!!!
I would like Jennifer to win, or Kyle (I voted for both). I will not be surprised, however, if Bristol wins. Planet Mirrorballus has been invaded, and the zombie will rise and take over.
I suspect Jennifer will win, I have always kind of thought that DWTS has a correction procedure in the final vote because the contestants get all the usual votes last night, but then there are two more dances that the judges vote on. Now, I am only a mild conspiracy theorist, but I have always thought that the judges probably know the standings going into tonight maybe not the actual number and if they agree with the standings, every one gets perfect scores tonight. If they don’t, there is tougher judging and Jennifer will probably get more judge support if she is second or third. Kyle will probably get perfect scores regardless because they would be fine with him winning, but they want the last two standing to be him and Jennifer.

Bristol’s scores, were a total ripoff. She didn’t dance anywhere near to what they gave her for scores. I don’t know why they scored her so high, but they never scored Kyle like that. Len gave her the same scored last night he gave Kyle. I smell a rat.
Kyle should win. Can we please start a write in campaign to PAIR DERRICK & MARK WITH DOGS next season?

The most entertaing dancer is Kyle.Jennifer is good, but watching kyle dance puts a smile on your face.There’s nothing exciting about Jennifer’s dancing.Nice but does nothing for me.

yea kyle looks like he has had the most fun. Doesnt really complain about injuries or much. Just wants to have a good time and do his best. Good for him. I could see him win the whole thing.
