Deathly Hallows was emotional, effective, and utterly unsurprising — except for that one CGI, comic-shaded shadow puppet sequence that told the tale of the Three Read the full post.

I’m so glad I went to the film completely unspoiled about this animation. It was very brave of David Yates to do this scene this way. When i saw the movie there were a lot of Wow’s after this scene.I hope their are more surprises like this in part 2.
The whole time the animation sequence was on…my mouth was hanging open in awe. I couldn’t believe it. I had heard there would be an animation sequence, but I wasn’t prepared for that. It was extraordinary. It was pretty awesome on WB’s part that they kept that whole thing a secret. There were no pictures released of it at all.
That was one of the best parts of the film.
This scene blew me away- utterly haunting, fantastic, and perfect. It worked so well with Emma’s narration. A scene from the movies that is truly better than the book’s.
I have to agree with all the posts above. I loved the movie, but that animated story was just mesmerizing and was the one thing my friends and I kept talking about after the movie. Congrats to Ben Hibon and kudos to the team for looking outside the box.
