This might only be for rabid Harry Potter fans (so, most of us, I guess?), but some newly released behind-the-scenes footage offers a nice, offbeat glimpse at the filming of Deathly Hallows, Part 1. Among the choice scenes: Helena Bonham Carter cracking up in full Bellatrix regalia; Mark Williams and Julie Walters as the Weasleys, practicing their dancing for the wedding; and some fun shots of Robbie Coltrane and Daniel Radcliffe on the motorcycle. Also funny (to me, at least), Radcliffe and Rupert Grint manfully slinging their wands and shouting “Stupefy!” to a nearly silent room. See the videos embedded after the jump.

Colombia, no one really likes The Harry Potter films. The Transformers franchise is much more popular, and I think much more likely to stand the test of time and stand beside the classics.

Am I the only one confused about where they are cutting these movies? When does the first one end? The logical end to the first to me is the departure of Ron but these clips and parts of the trailer all seem to be the 2nd half.

I think thats a great place to cut it. The second part is going to be like a warzone. I hope they handle the deaths that happen at hogwarts in a way that makes our heart wrench.

I always like watching behind-the-scenes video like this. It’s the closest to seeing what it’s like being on set that I’ll ever get.
If these are all scenes from pt.1, then it will at least include the dungeon at Malfoy Manor. I wonder when they will end pt.1. I can’t wait till the 19th.
I hear they split when Voldemort takes the Elder Wand from Dumbledore’s crypt. It was posted a long time ago in an EW story.
Yeah, I think it will be at where he gets the Elder Wand. If you look at the titles in the soundtrack, the last one is called “Elder Wand”, or something along those lines.

I know what you mean. I love Bellatrix because Helena makes her so bonkers and funny and evil at the same time. But in the book and hopefully movie ***SPOILER*** she says ” whats your poor little children to do when Mummy goes the way of Freddy?” and Bellatrix fires the AK and it nearly misses Ginny and then MOLLY has had it. She says ” NOT my Daughter you B*****!” i think thats how the scenario went.
LOVE that scene in the book… Molly goes all bad-a** on Bella!
