When pop culture phenomenons collide: On The Simpsons‘ annual “Treehouse of Horror” episode — which aired last night, bringing relief of all us still dealing Read the full post.

The Halloween episodes are the only ones I really still watch. I thought Daniel Radcliff did an excellent job “They say vampires live forever, but I die of embarrassment every single day.”

    • Lynn

“They say vampires live forever, but I die of embarrassment every single day.”
I like to think this holds true for Pattinson.

  • Veronica

    Hilarious!! I loved it lol

  • Heather

Ha ha! I loved Bat Homer! He’s so fat and cute. I laughed so hard at that last night.

  • Laura

    Meh.

  • Haters

Uh NO! I didn’t catch it. The internet was burning up re: the filming of Breaking Dawn. The filmin of the kisses between the real Edward and Bella in Rio. Who wants to see the faker when we can watch the real thing. No one is even buzzing about Potter. Twilight has taken over Rio. Robert and Kristen have a real army protecting them.

We’ll catch up with the baby story in two weeks. Let’s see what’s hotter: Watching Dan and Rupert argue over an Horcrux or watch Robert and Kristen begin the baby making process.

I choose the latter. Thanks. he he

    • Alyssa

Hmmm…Druggies making a baby then the dad bites the mom open to get it out. GROSS. No one is even buzzing about Harry Potter?- check again.Midnight showing in one theater for Nov.19 in my city is soldout already.

    • Dear Stephanie Meyer

The only people buzzing about about Twilight is you and the rest of the Twilight brigade. The rest of the world clearly doesn’t give a shit. You must be living under a rock if you think there’s no Potter buzz – it’s among us, the fans. Did you know Deathly Hallows tickets are selling exceptionally well? As the folks over at Fandango put it “We’ve seen more sold-out showtimes for this film than we’ve seen for any other film this year, at the same point in the sale cycle.” That sounds like buzz to me.

      • To add

More than “any other film this year” means it’s selling MORE THAN ECLIPSE.

    • Eww…

I just threw up in my mouth…”watch Robert and Kristen begin the baby making process”…Well, if you’re into Rob looking constipated on those films…than to each his own.

    • Gag Reflex

      *Vomits*

    • Um

“No one is even buzzing about Potter.”
Um, eight sold-out midnight showings at my local theaters beg to differ.
It’s OK, Half-Blood Prince only beat the last two Twilight films by about $200 million worldwide. Nothing to be ashamed of. Lulz.

    • James

No one is even buzzing about Potter.
      ———
Can you tell that to my local theater? They’ve got four sold-out midnight showings on Nov. 18 for Deathly Hallows and I think they’d be interested in this information.
Fandango is selling more DH tickets than they have for any other movie this year. Eclipse came out this year. Ergo, Deathly Hallows is selling out more theaters than Eclipse.

  • Haters

BTW, we know Dan has to stay relevant by playing Robert.

    • Alyssa

Yeah…NO. Dan has been an actor in Hollywood before any of you twithards even heard of Twilight, or Robert. And Lets not forget that Robert got his big break in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. OH and Bellatrix Lestrange existed way before Bella Swan

    • @Haters

And you have to stay relevant by being obnoxious and trying to convince the rest of us that the whole world is “buzzing” about Breaking Yawn.

    • Lynn

You DO realize that if RPattz hadn’t played Cedric Diggory in Goblet of Fire, he never would’ve played Edward Cullen, right? The Twilight fandom owes its sparkly pretty boy to Harry Potter. Deal with it.

  • Laura W

Don’t normally like Daniel Radcliffe but that was super funny!! “Die Fatso!!” & “Dad I don’t need a caphrone I’m 400 years old!!” Simpsons please put Rupert Grint on!!

  • Bessy

Very funny and SingleDoctorDating was even better

  • chris

This treehouse was a major let down. The same as last years. At least Cleveland and family guy were pretty good. And American Dad was surprisingly the best one of the night. And I’m not even a fan of American Dad. Another great episode of Walking Dead was on last night. Michael Rooker RULES!

  • dizzy

I watched it for Daniel Radcliffe. I liked the episode; it was cute and funny.

  • Peter

What disappoints me is the non-horror installments. Jumanji, Mr and Mrs Smith, Clockstoppers, Fantastic Voyage, Transformers. It doesn’t feel like a Halloween special when they do those (though I guess they might be going for a Twilight Zone vibe with some of them). They haven’t tapped any of the Japanese horror, torture pr0n, discovered shaky cam (come on, Paranormal Activity 2 just came out!), M Night Shyamalan.

  • ReRe

I love Twilight spoofs in general and this one nailed it!
