I remember watching the Fox & the Hound as a child. They had on when I was in elementary school as a fun activity for the kids. It stopped being fun when I saw the lady leave the little fox in the woods. I COMPLETELY LOST IT! I just fell apart and started sobbing. They actually had to take me out of the classroom because I was so hysterical. Throughout the rest of that day, anytime I thought about that scene, I would start bawling all over again. I didn’t calm down until the next day. Just seeing the bond those two had and then seeing the little fox look so sad and knowing that the two would be separated, it just tore my heart out. I have never watched that movie again and probably never will. It is the only movie to bring me to tears.
In fact, now that I think about it, I CANNOT watch Jurassic Bark from Futurama because of the ending. The first time I saw it, I almost cried and I refuse to watch it again, for fear of a repeat of the Fox & the Hound reaction.
Sorry for so many posts, but for songs from movies that make me cry…there is only one: If We Hold On Together from The Land Before Time. I cry Every.Single.Time. That is a feat, let me tell you. There’s a video on youtube with scenes from the movie playing along with the song…I’m in tears by the end every time without fail.
sometimes i wish i never watch movies like that, I feel sad and depressed for days, crying in my sleep, crying all the time if i think about movies like that then i have to talk to get my mind off of it by watching a happier movie like The 3 stooges (i forgot how to spell if its wrong)
I haven’t read all of these, so I don’t know if they have been brought up… but I recently watch the Land before Time and that movie made it really hard to get a little watery eyed.. it’s so sad in a realistic way.. Also, when Mufasa dies in Lion King and Simba is telling him they need to go home… wow – Man tears there.
