I find it funny people think that Olivia’s opinion doesn’t mean anything as compared to someone like..oh I don’t know..anyone. At what point did the ability of Freedom of Speech mean that their voice doesn’t matter or they shouldn’t get to talk about a subject. How many of us are political..now how many of us are actual political figures? Because we aren’t someone running or a member of government mean we shouldn’t talk or advocate? she has just as much right to talk about politics as we do talking about her talking politics…but at least recognize that she should be allowed to talk about it rather than ‘sticking to looking pretty’

And for the record, apathy is a natural reaction for suckitude. The Democrats have been in charge of Congress since 2007 and everything since 2009, and they can’t do a damn thing right. I’m not saying the Republicans are going to be better, but they can’t possibly be any worse. In my adult lifetime the most prosperous era was when Clinton had a Republican congress that he actually worked with; here’s hoping that can happen again. Although the attitude of some people (including the politicians) leads me to be less than optimistic about it.
