    Shocked….because Audrina was actually good!!

    • Andre

      She was an awesome robot.

    • Judy

I totally agree. I thought she should have made it to the top 3. There is a lot of others that should have been gone before her.

    • Judy

I agree. Audrina should have made it to the top 3.

    • Marianne

I agree, the Tea Party is the reason for Bristol remaining & Audrina going. This proves Tea Party’s lack of clearly seeing reality!

      • sam2010

oh my God…do you people always have to have someone to blame? and what do you even know about the Tea Party anyway other than what Joy Behar tells you?!

      • jj

sam2010, considering that ms. palin has done nothing else to be “famous” other than being the daughter of a famous politician, given that fans of said politician tend to be fanatical in their support of her, i’d say that surmising that bristol’s fans are voting for her on DWTS bc of their own politics is a logical argument. it has nothing to do with blame. it has to do with logic. if you have something logical to say to refute that- fine. but you BLAMING joy behar is illogical and hypocritical. Those that aren’t voting based on politics are more than likely (and this is based on comments i have read that have been made since before the show even started)voting based on a perceived bias against bristol that they feel the need to combat. Perceived being the operative word.

  • LM

The Tea Party members are fervent, aren’t they. Just another example of how utterly stupid they are.

    • Nerwen Aldarion

I don’t think it is the Tea Partiers that are voting for Bristol Palin, as far as I know they don’t give a crap about Bristol.

      • kahuna

        But they love her mama.

      • ks

Don’t fool yourself Mama has her hands in this, unfortunately

      • sam2010

apparently Bristol has quite a following…if any of you opinionated people would check out things before opening you mouths. not everyone is as judmental as people on here. she is an unwed mother, she is fat….i am sure all of you people look and are just perfect! shame on you people…this is suppose to be for fun! i don’t think it is really easy to be on a show that requires so much hard work and then to be constantly criticized! Have a heart…

      • jj

sam. quite a following due to what? her unplanned teen pregnancy? her two line rigid guest stint on American Teenager? I am not a bristol hater, but if she wasn’t sarah palin’s kid noone would have ever heard of her. and if anyone is being hypocritical it’s those that say ‘stop giving her such a hard time’ etc… yet have no problem speaking smack about people that aren’t associated with their political or religious or whatever affiliation…

    • Kevin

Speaking of utterly stupid…you’re comparing the results of a “celebrity” dancing competition to the political climate of the country.

      • Arnie

To think that support of BP is not due to political supporters is a sign of a deluded mentality. That pig cannot dance(or wear lipstick) so how else is she staying in? Because she is so lovable? Haha.

    • DiMi

It is dishonest to pretend that Bristol Palin is getting support – from the judges and voters – for any reason other than the fact that her mother is Sarah and the tea partiers are voting for her. Who else would vote for her? Teens don’t watch the show, and those that do are Hills fans. The producers are afraid of losing ratings if they get rid of her or if the judges criticize her. They’re afraid of how crazy the tea partiers get if you disagree with them so they are having the judges over-praise and over-score her. That’s what’s going on. Everybody knows it. She’s a nice young lady, but she just can’t dance. Politics and politics alone are keeping her in this competition.

      • KarlHall

Hear, hear, DiMi. It’s actually geared toward the adult spectrum.

No doubt in my mind that all the tea party viewers are voting here. If the teens were putting in the votes Patridge would still be in. Besides, the teens I know all hate Bristol Palin.

      • sam2010

@ Dimi: how did the Tea Party get into this????? geez. and name just one “crazy” thing about the tea party. i keep seeing these remarks, but not any proof! I think the show keeps Bristol on because people watch her…so they can tear her apart. it makes their ratings go higher because of all of the BS from everyone. She cannot dance…but she puts herself out there. give her credit for that. i would be shocked if any of the judges gave a hoot about Sara Palin or the Tea Party. Most hollywood people are total Liberals! The show is just using Bristol just like they did Kate Goslin..to promote ratings!

    • rebecca

I am a Tea Party Member and I would never vote for Bristol. I am a very strong conservative Republican and I don’t like Palin, as many of the people I know don’t like her either. So I don’t think it is us voting. It is probably all those freezing people in Alaska voting with nothing better to do then sit inside!!

      • Alaskan

No-we do not like her, she is making us out to be fools, her mom is NOT the governor but a hack that has thrown us under the bus so to speak.

      • sam2010

@ rebecca: IT IS THE SHOW’S RATINGS!!!!! THAT IS WHY SHE IS ON DWTS…..plus, I am sure the girl does have some friend and family.

    • sam2010

@ LM: yeah, i am sure you are right…the Tea Party has nothing else to be doing right now. I am sure DWTS is high up on all of their lists of priorities!

  • DN

To all of the youth of America: Get knocked up as a teen and your a celebrity, as long as your mom’s famous. Why else is the Palin girl on the show? Seriously. Can you give another reason?

    • Ember

Give it a rest with the “why is Bristol on the show?” ranting! It’s week 6. She’s on it. Get over it.

      • Becky

I have been wondering the same thing. How is she a “Star”?

      • DiMi

Ember, you can’t answer the question. There is no other reason; that’s why you’re telling people to get over it because you have nothing else to say/write.

    • sara

Excellent point actually. Bristol is not a star of any kind. She’s just famous for having unprotected teenage sex and a none-too-bright mother.

    • Kiki

Yeah. It’s real special that she’s earning $15K per week based solely on the fact that she got knocked up and her mom is famous. And the judges are afraid to tell the truth — the way they gave her a tongue bath over that hideously horrible gorilla dance pisses me off still.

      • omg not again

yeah, If It was brandy or anyone else. they would of Killed them

      • nunnya

Like it or not, she draws viewers. That’s what ABC wanted.

    • Jose Cordero

You must be one of those people that kept Cloris Leachman around for a long time with your votes!!! She could not dance, could not even walk a straight line!!!

    • sam2010

@DN: there have been lots of people on DWTS that i had never heard of. Public ridicule has made the Palin’s famous. I would not like to be in their shoes. Not a minute of peace since Sara Palin ran for office. who did everyone pick on before then????? you people need to get a life, and hope you are never in their position. It is bound to be hurtful.

  • Vilya

Poor Tony. Why does he always get saddled with the losers? Last season he had to endure Kate Gosselin, this season he gets plastic, vacant, Audrina. Throw him a ringer once in a while, Show!

    • Katja

It’s kind of a shame though, because he had to be a bit blind-sided to leave so early this season; Audrina was actually surprisingly good. Totally vacant-looking still, but the dancing was a lot better than some of the other contestants. I will miss Tony! I kind of love him.

    • Anon

Audrina was the best he has had for a long time. I’m not sure why he he doesn’t get one of the “pros” like Derek always does.

      • Maureen

Seriously! Derek always seems to get a partner who already knows how to dance really well!!

      • omg not again

Hey I just read that Before Jennifer Grey came on the show.. Louis van amstel Coached her..

      • Paparazzi

seriously Tony is great- one of the friendliest people on the show… It’s easy to suspect that they “never give him the “pro” dancers” but really how would the producers know?? they gave him the hottest gal, she was younger, in better shape and had a great personality -all the makings to have been the winner this year -how would they have “known” that she’d be technically perfect but not exude more character in the dances?

Same thing with Derek -they lace him with the pros? ok yes Jennifer has dance background but she was fresh out of surgery -one of the oldest contestants and really nobody could have known for sure…

I think they get the folks they think will pull the viewers but don’t think they set dancers up to loose…

    • Al

Tony could have won with Stacy Keibler, Melissa Rycroft or with Audrina. He didn’t and that is, at least partly, his fault.

      • Genie

        Right on! so true

    • NY YUMMIE

I think Derek is so good that he makes his dancers perform really well. He probably could make Bristol dance just as well as all of his other partners. I think it all has to do with him.

      • Zach

Yes and NO NO NO. Nicole could have — and probably has — danced with a broom and still looked great. Joanna IS sex. Brooke was a gorgeous dancer.

      • KWise

I think Derek gets lucky to be paired with good dancer. BUT, I also think he is the most gifted choreographer on the show. His dances are amazing – which I hate to admit cause I can’t stand him. But he’s so inventive and unexpected in his choreography – and it makes his dancers stand out.

  • OMG not again

I think that Money talks and BS walks! Personally! No way should audrina, and jennifer Be in the bottom 2..although I don’t care for Jenn. I believe that It should of been Bristol and rick fox. Money talks and Bs walks
Watch out for next week. It is going to be so dramatic. Jenn, Is going to have a break through. What about audrina’s tears? I am rooting for BranDMC btw…great job!!! those two are so cute!!

    • DiMi

Rick Fox? He was much better than Kurt!!

  • OMG not again

Not a chance in hell brandy is going home. sorry. Bristol will be gone next

    • nicki kara

      dude, you are loser.

  • anonymous

Man, you got to get out more Larry.

  • jj

it puzzles me y some of u don’t know y bristol is on the show. yeah, she’s not a star, but neither was erin andrews last year and bristol is as much of a “star” as gosselin is. the reason she’s there is becuz of the ratings and she gets people talking about her AND the show. in no way am i a fan of the palins, but the reason y she’s there is obvious…

    • anonymous

Ya. It’s because her dad turned the gig down.

      • OMG not again

Oh, I would rather see her than Him anyday.. anyone that is married to sarah Palin.. Please stay in alaska

    • Rambam

Erin Andrews is a well known reporter on ESPN. She’s more of a star than Bristol.

    • Sigh

We all know she’s there because of the ratings. That doesn’t explain why she could legitimately be considered a “star” though. Erin Andrews was getting recognition as a sports reporter; she was there because of her career and accomplishments. I had originally thought she was only offered the opportunity after the whole peephole thing came out, but if I remember right, she had been offered DWTS before all that. So it wasn’t the same notoriety factor that Bristol has, and Bristol lacks any sort of career or accomplishment that would make her in any way a “star.” Sure, she’s a single mom and that’s a great accomplishment. Truly. But it’s not enough to be on DWTS, in my mind. I know DWTS has a solid history of D-list celebrities, but that’s the fun – they’re not huge celebrities, but you get to know them AND at least they’ve got something on the resume that make DWTS seem legit for them. So that is what people are talking about when they say they don’t know “y” she is on the show. We know why in the cynical ratings sense. We don’t know why with regard to common sense.

      • cjinsd

        Well said.

      • Becky

        Very true.

    • Dee

Erin Andrews is a respected sports reporter. Kate Gosselin is the star of her own reality show. She did not get that show because her mother was famous. Bristol has achieved nothing on her own.

      • nunnya

Well, she has now. She’s made it through six rounds of Dancing with the Stars.

    • kahuna

Really? Does Palin have a TV show, or does she appear regularly on tv? Let’s compare apples with apples, not with oranges.

    • sam2010

@jj:OMG….after reading the first post to me: “sam2010, considering that ms. palin has done nothing else to be “famous” other than being the daughter of a famous politician, given that fans of said politician tend to be fanatical in their support of her, i’d say that surmising that bristol’s fans are voting for her on DWTS bc of their own politics is a logical argument.”….your later post surprised me.. Admitting that Bristol is still on the show because of the show’s ratings…so just “maybe” politics has nothing to do with it then????

seems that you and I agree as to why Bristol is on DWTS…yet you had just

  • McProphet

While there wasn’t much of a chance that Audrina was going to win the season, she definitely had the potential (as the judges said) to make it to the Top 3. The fact that she went before Bristol and Kyle is a absolute BS move by the voting public. Who are all these Palin supporters that couldn’t get that skank into office so now they’re wasting additional votes on her talent-less daughter???

    • Anon

      Very true

    • Redbug

I agree with you McProphet, bristol should have went home tonight, but I guess popularity wins over talent these days!

    • Ultra liberal

I am a Liberal, would never ever vote for Palin and I like Bristol. It has nothing to do with politics, she is likable that is why she is still on. She is not a bad dancer either.

      • Arnie

Your name should be Ultra dreamer.

      • Enthusiastic Comment Lady

I agree with you. “Politics have no place on Planet Mirrorballus”!!!!!! Her performance this week was good (surprised me), but she’s not a performer, and I would hate to see her go much further, unless she learns how to get into character on a consistent basis.

    • Sally

I didn’t vote for Audrina (or Bristol for that matter). Audrina moves her body great, but her face was just a vacant stare. The dance was never believable with her. The judges just refused to see it or comment on it. The voting public saw otherwise.

  • Lisa Simpson

I don’t care for reality “stars”, and Audrina seemed dumb as a post and rather vacant, but she did have some grace and ability. I think she was eliminated a couple places too soon.

    • OMG not again

      me too lisa

    • JR

Dumb as a post? How can you judge someone based on an edited clip. You are very superficial.

      • Carlo

        JR you a idiot
It was obvious that Audrina was and always will be Vacant.

      • Lisa Simpson

Hence the use of the word “seemed.” Now go and rag on everyone who called Jennifer Grey “whiney” and Brandy a “diva.” And be sure to call yourself out for calling me “superficial” for a two sentence post.

    • etm

I agree. I am surprised she was eliminated so early, and I can’t believe that Bristol is still there- she’s so unenthusiastic and lifeless.

  • OMG not again

    funny!!

    • Anon

      No it isn’t.

  • JR

You must be jealous. LOL. You are fixated on them.

    • OMG not again

      ???

  • Sue

I loved Len’s comment about the American public putting the two bottom couples in jeopardy. hey Len, you guys have the other half of the votes – how about you stop giving good scores to bad dancers and give those who are doing hard routines AND performing the high scores they deserve. The rest will work itself out.

    • Rambam

You make too much sense for them.

    • juju

Did you notice that last night Carrie Ann gave the same score (8) to five of the seven dance teams? She gave 6 to the other two (Kurt and Jennifer). Yeah, that’s gonna help separate the talent from the stiffs.

    • BodeMiller

Totally agree. The judges created this mess with their irrational, inconsistent judging this season. They have no right to turn around and put all the blame on the viewers.

    • Jose Cordero

I agree, Len is the one with the worst case of coming in with a 2X4 on his shoulder, and chastising amateur dancers, and making stupid remarks about bringing this and that to the floor. He needs to either get modern about what the pros are trying to do with the amateurs, and quit trying to judge like a fudy-dudy idiot.

    • Rika

YES!!! I couldn’t believe the judges’ indignation over the outcome. As though they had nothing to do with it?

  • Lynnette

Maybe Bristol is in because she is liked. Unfortunately, she made a terrible moral mistake but many of you probably have too. Bristol is her own person and respect her for herself. Leave her Mom out of the situation. This is Bristol’s time to have fun and have an adventure. back off all of you haters and let Bristol live her life and have some experiences out of Alaska with other people. You all need to grown up and be as mature as she is. One mistake she made should not make her the target of all this hatred. I admire Bristol so much. You all need to look in the mirror at yourselves. You are great Bristol…ignore the morons…

    • JR

She is not as talented as the others and has danced poorly for most of her time on the show. It has nothing to do with politics. She is not the best dancer. She should have gone home weeks ago. Get glasses.

      • nicki kara

        very tre jr

    • scyren

She has slightly more personality than Audrina. If she doesn’t connect next week, she’ll probably be going home next.

      • Becky

I hope so. So true JR.

    • etm

      @ Lynnette
“terrible moral mistake” Premarital sex is a terrible moral mistake?

You “admire her so much”?!? Please tell me you’re kidding.

      • sam2010

@etm: i agree with Lynette. and, yes, premarital sex is a terrible MORAL mistake…but, oh i forgot, to some it isn’t! who are you to judge anyone anyway????

    • Dee

Nobody hates Bristol; she seems like a nice young lady. We just think she is on the show for the wrong reasons and she stayed on the show for the wrong reasons.

    • sam2010

@Lynette: i agree with your post. i am a grandmother and know how it feels to have an unwed mother in the family…i can’t stand the way everyone calls her names, etc. at least she has taken responsibility instead of taking the easy way out like a lot on here would do! she isn’t the best dancer, that is for sure. but she is trying and doesn’t deserve to be ripped apart constantly for being an unwed mother! this show has always been rigged. mario lopez should have won over Emmitt, and Gilles should have won over Shawn, etc…i am sure if anyone on here was offered the money they would be quick to jump on the chance to be dancing with the stars themselves! Jennifer is a pro….my gosh…there is just no comparison between her and the other dancers! brandy is a smart ass to Max although she is a good dancer….i just wish everyone would find someone new to pick on. last season it was Kate, this season it is Bristol….yawn!!!!

  • JOSIE

TONY DESERVES TO HAVE A WINNING PARTNER FOR A CHANGE…HE ALWAYS GETS STUCK WITH LOSERS..HE IS A GENTLEMAN & SHOWS HIS TRUE CHARACTER BY TOLERATING THE LEAST TALENTED PARTNERS. WISH THE PRODUCERS COULD SEE THAT…HE TAKES BEING SENT HOME LIKE A REAL PRO !

    • Becky

Yes. He never gets one of the pro-stars like Derek always does. It is a shame. They owe him after putting him with Kate last time.

      • Al

Stacy Keibler and Melissa Rycroft were both ringers and Tony couldn’t get it done.

      • omg not again

Melissa sucked, but I have to agree with the stacey Kiebler.. She was amazing and also robbed.. just like Maks was with Mel B and Dmitry/MYA robbed too

      • Sally

Yes Mel B, Stacey, and Mya could have (and should have) won based on OVERALL season. But sadly all of their freestyles sucked and more votes come in freestyle night then any other night of the show. Sad, and I wish that wasn’t the case, but there you go.
