i think it would be great to see colin farrell come out in the remake besides i think he’s better in action movies like swat so please let him play the role of doug mcquaid that arnold played
According to the article it isn’t a remake of Total Recall at all. It’s a different version of the source material, more akin to John Carpenter’s The Thing; which was a new, source faithful, adaption of “Who Goes There” and not a remake of Cold War classic “The Thing from Another World, despite the misleading title and font.
As a big, big fan of the works of, drug crazed, Phillip K Dick I have no problem with a more serious adaption of “We Can Remember it For You Wholesale” and a dramatic version of that book is good news. Given the current climate of global terrorism, Oil dependence and financial uncertainty it is also an extremely timely one.
If you ever say that a fiction film NEEDS to be made, or that a production(film, TV or Stage) of an already filmed / performed work NEEDS to be made then this is it. Read the book and see if you think there’s not an adaption that differs wildly from Total Recall to be made.
Thanks,
Get ready for a surprise!
Well, I guess user Brooklyn would think this remake is warranted since he thinks this movie isn’t legendary nor does he know who Paul Verhoeven is.
Don’t do it Colin, please… you’re better than this.
Just stop the insanity NOW, please.

Is Arnold thinking about coming back as an actor for this movie? If so, he would definetly be the man for the job!! He would insure a box office hit, especially this being his come back movie and all. If you can’t get Arnold, I think collin would do a good enough job to getter done. I think “The Rock” would do better!!!
