'Jackass' cast and Danny McBride give Justin Bieber's autobigraphy well-deserved dramatic readings

Bieber army, the wait is over! Today you can finally get your hands on Justin Bieber’s autobiography First Step 2 Forever: My Story. (See Tanner Stransky’s summary of the book over on EW’s Shelf Life blog.) Naysayers may point out that The Biebz is just 16 and argue that he hasn’t lived enough life to merit an autobiography, and that may be true, but I imagine that Bieber’s life at 16 was more interesting than my life at 16 (he’s had hit records and has toured the world, I was in suburban high school), so it has to be somewhat of a page turner, right?

In honor of Bieber’s foray into book publishing, Johnny Knoxville and Steve-O of Jackass and Danny McBride of Eastbound & Down lent their comedic talents to dramatic readings of Bieber’s memoir. (See video embedded after the jump.) The Jackass guys took on a tale many fans of Bieber might be curious to learn more about: his first date. And my query as to why he requests so many white t-shirts backstage while on tour has been answered: Bieber spills spaghetti on white t-shirts.

Now that the Jackass guys and Danny McBride have done something Bieber-related, maybe now Justin will return the favor and get involved in their projects. Personally, I’d love to see Justin pulling some Jackass-style stunts or appearing on an Eastbound & Down little league baseball team, but maybe I’ll just have to settle for Punk’d.

Are you going to be buying Justin Bieber’s official book, PopWatchers? Who would you next like to see give a dramatic reading of Bieber’s boyhood tales?

yes, I bought the book. Surprisingly it was in the back with the regular stock, but up high, on the top shelf, perhaps to discourage shorties from just browsing its weighty dreamishness :P

one more thing: a parent could write a book about their still born. There is a lot of life in a single moment. If you don’t believe me, just read Virgina Woolf.

The Jackass crew + Bieber would be very entertaining. But I would like to hear Mike Tyson read Biebers book.
