He should start a fight with Toby, Toby kicks Michael’s ass, then Kathy Bates fires Michael.
He should surprise Holly with last-minute tickets to Jamaica that were purchased for him by one of Dwight’s “contacts” and the two of them end up crash landing on a deserted island in the Bermuda Triangle.
I think Michael will end up with Holly but he will have to go back to Nashua with her. Also, when Carell leaves the show will be horrible. They will be losing the best thing about the show. For anyone out there that enjoyed the Andy Griffith show, it was like something was missing without Barney when he left. It went downhill and wasn’t funny at all. The Office will be the same way. Carell is quiting the show and taking his co-workers (cast and crew) out of their jobs prematurely. If he stayed it would have went another 2-3 years. The Office won’t go more than one season after Steve Carell leaves.
Steve C has left the show already. You can see it in his eyes and face with every line he delivers.
I had an idea once that some kid walks inside the office and informs Michael that he is his long lost son from a one night stand Michael had with a lady back in 1994. Michael takes a DNA test, it’s true, and he leaves The Office to spend time with his son.
We’ve seen so much of Michael’s misery and missteps… it would be nice to have that ONE moment where the potential for him to be happy is really there. I think if he doesn’t end up with Holly… then it’s all been for nothing and I will feel pretty gypped. Frankly (as much as I love Will Ferrell and the rest of the cast), I wish they’d just end it instead of trying to continue without Steve Carell. I’m sorry, but he IS the show. And why not go out while they’re still on top, a la “Seinfeld?” Then again, I’m already annoyed that he’s gonna be out four eps before the season ends, so they’ve already screwed it up and I should just prepare to be disappointed. It’s small potatoes after hearing Carell was leaving in the first place…
Agreed. If Michael doesn’t end up with Holly, I will be very, very disappointed. ;(
