Last night, Vogue celebrated its 90th anniversary in Paris, and if it were me attending a fashion party in the world’s fashion capital hosted by the most well-known fashion magazine, well, I’d probably whip out my non-existent ball gown and have myself a princess moment.
Going a slightly less conventional route, America’s Next Top Model host Tyra Banks and supermodel Gisele Bundchen chose the above looks for the soiree. Banks tweeted her followers to guess what her mask was made out of, only to reveal that it was a cheap drugstore find—fishnet stockings.
No word yet on Gisele’s inspiration, but has she been listening to “Tik Tok” on repeat?

At least Bundchen did it right…on the left. Any eye adornment should pay homage to Left Eye, RIP.
Gaga and Kesha (I refuse to type a $ in there) only wear the one eye cover because they’re not good looking. A face like Tyra’s or Giselle’s has no need to be covered up!

It was a masquerade, so of course they would cover some, if not all of their face. Ke$ha, I am not sure what her excuse is….
Tyra, Tyra, Tyra, how are we supposed to be impressed when it looks like you’re some sort of cluess burglar who picked fishnets over dark stockings for this Vogue heist?
Wow. What I can’t believe is the reference to Tyra and Giselle as having Kesha moments rather than Lady Gaga moments. To be fair, I think they should be paying homage to the first artists to wear colorful, shocking attire… such as Bowie, Cher, and Sir Elton John, and I may even squeeze Madonna in there, but for her it was mainly for the shock value. If you want to delve back a little further, you could even mention Little Richard in there as he chose some interesting choices for his performance wardrobe as well, at least they would have been considered interesting back in the day when most people were a lot more conservatively dressed.
Kesha is a hot mess and tries too hard.
Personally, I think Tyra, Giselle, and kesha are all beautiful women who wore what they felt like wearing and probably could care less what people think, There is a reason why they are all successful and have millions-
Spiderwoman,a Thundercat, and the Phantom of the Opera? Look they are all copying Boy George and David Bowie.
