I don’t watch any of the other L&O shows. I watched this because of Skeet, Molina and Terrance. Mostache detective was ok but not memorable. I liked Skeet! Pilot had some great guest stars Mira Furlan (B5 & Lost) and bearded dad whom I love from Deadwood!

Molina made the most of his little screen time, and I feel bad for Ulrich because he is saddled with the ‘serious’ character and the writers need to find a way to make him pop on the screen. They give the Det. Stache the sarcastic lines (I like Stoll and think he and Ulrich will develop great chemistry on the show given time). Wanda De Jesus ruined this show for they had to hire her diva-ass and recast and that probably made editing difficult. I hope fans give the show at least 5-6 episodes for them to integrate the LARGE cast. I hear next weeks episode is not celeb based.

I meant FIRE Wanda, not hire

This debut was surprisingly bland and lifeless. I thought it would be much faster-paced and engaging, especially being set in Los Angeles. NBC should have simply renewed the original Law and Order, most of the original episodes were more interesting and engaging, with more interesting detective and lawyer characters; this would also have given Dick Wolf his record for the longest running television series.

Detective mustache is hot. He is the reason I watch the show.
