Quite possibly the shark-jumping moment for hip-hop as an urban genre. Neat-o.
A fan of rap/hip-hop from way back, and I thought they were excellent! Lotta fun to watch!
How stupid is Ms. Schwartz? People don’t have ears, that’s how Madonna became a SINGING star by squacking. Fallon’s performance is AWESOME, tops JTs, and he’s not even known for singing, so why would anyone compare JT favorably even if they thoughts so?
It was funny but ppl get too excited when white ppl mimic black ppl. Its not impressive becuz anybody can do it. Jt built a music career doing that along with many of your fav pop acts. Where do you think that dancing and singing come from? Mj wasnt the first big dancer, he was the first one you saw! Some where right now some black kids are making up a dance or a new genre of music and in a few yrs some white person will do and you will call it innovative. Come on now ppl its 2010 wake up!
kara, i’m old enough to remember when rap started and black musicians were complaining they couldn’t get rap played on mtv or the radio. now all these years later, hip hop has conquered the world and rap artists are billionaires. white entertainers don’t mind poking fun at themselves looking goofy while paying homage to their favorite acts thru the years. there’s nothing at all wrong with this picture, so cheer up.
I love Jimmy Fallon since his SNL skits and not to much fond of JT however they were both great last night. Are they going commercially with this?.. because if they are I want to buy their CD. They are fun to watch and I keep playing it over and over.
Nice performace, however I find Mr.B’s Chap-Hop History much more entertaining and original
I agree completely with you on that Dave, seems like much of this was directly stolen from that performance.
