Brad Goreski parts ways with Rachel Zoe and Bravo series

rachel-zoe-bradBrad Goreski, the nerd glass-, bow-tie-, suspender-wearing associate of super stylist Rachel Zoe, announced yesterday that he would be parting ways with his guru Oct. 1, according to People. The two say the split was amicable, and Zoe went on to explain: “He did this with such class and elegance. And I get it. I just told him, ‘I’m here for you always.’ I don’t want to hire somebody for the purpose of the show, we just got lucky. No one’s ever going to be Brad to me.” Goreski said he broke the news to Zoe a month ago after realizing now was the time to break out on his own.

No word yet on what Goreski will do next, but what I do know is, if there’s another season of Bravo’s The Rachel Zoe Project to come, it’s going to have a bow-tie-shaped hole in it. This past season was already lacking without Taylor and the mostly mute Ashley and Jordan didn’t help, so it’s hard to imagine what will be compelling about the show besides shots of Zoe’s fabulousity.

Goreski’s next project should be somehow involve Zoe’s hair and makeup artist, Joey. Those two would shut it down, right? (You heard it here first!)

Are you surprised by Goreski’s exit? What do you think he should do next? Sound off!

Brad and Zoe were so great together!

I read an article in the WSJ about him. He is certainly someone on the way up!

  • WTF?

well, when he referred to himself as “the next Brad Goreski” on the finale episode, I sensed a bit of foreshadowing. As much as I love this show, it seems like a good point to end it, especially if Rachel and Rodger really do want to have a child. It will never happen with the cameras constantly in their faces. And, we already have Giuliana and Bill; do we need another?

But whose freakouts will Justin now memorize on “Ugly Betty” for his monologues? (Oh wait, that show got canceled, so never mind.)

I HEARD from sources within Bravo that with so much Minimalism at New York Fashion Week for Spring, that the new show may feature just clothes on racks, minus any people.

Boo! Brad cracks me up. And didn’t they let Ashley go?

I cannot stand Rachel Zoe. But I LOVE me some Brad. He is awesome and I always felt he had more going for him than to hand hold this shallow, self-indulged, valley girl Rachel Zoe. I’m sure we’ll see great things from Brad. Rachel and her closet-gay husband Rodger (with a D folks) needs to go away.

I thought it was her and her husband parting ways. I was going to cheer for him – poor man. Brad must really have something big lined up to bail on Rachel now. It’s not like he was there long and he can’t steal any of her clients.

Not Brad! He was my favorite!

Who cares. Another nobody thinking people cares about his 15 minutes. But I wish him luck in whatever he goes on to do.

    oh rats! rats! rats! rats!

  • tracy bluth

AWWWWWWW! I really will miss him (unlike Taylor, I never liked her).

I love looking at the clothes and the actual time they spent styling people; but I could care less about anyone’s personal life. I really don’t see Rachel devoting any less time to the business now that she doesn’t have anyone as well trained as Brad was, so I don’t think she and Rodger are going to be parents anytime soon.

  • Marion

Oh no! I love my Brad, where am I going to get my Brad-itude?
