what the hell is “Lonestar”? never heard of it.
but i did watch the first 20 minutes of The Event, which was more than enough to realize that this is NBC’s pathetic attempt at a “Lost”, which makes me sad for them. the writing was horrific, the acting was marginal, and it had that whole NBCraptastic “feel” to it.. you know what i mean. that weird, slick production like “V”, “Heroes”, etc, that goes for style over substance. if it wasn’t for the Thursday night shows, i wouldn’t watch NBC at all.
Hey, Chuck is GREAT and it’s on NBC! Heroes was really good, too, before they destroyed it.
&*#! My Dad Says looked dumb as a title, so you know that show is going bye-bye. So is “Detroit 187″ and “Mike and Molly”.
I’m hoping Outsourced. I just personally don’t find this subject funny & I thought “Only in Hollywood are they so out of touch with the rest of us.”
I think Bleep Dad Says was a poor show with bad writing, but I swear it would be a hit if they put it on after that crappy Two & 1/2 men – they seem like the same show to me (I’d almost swear they use the same set

Detroit 187, takes place in a city that’s 80% black yet I’m sure not one criminal will be black. Real true to life stuff there.
I have a team of Indians here in the US and in India and trust me, this show is far from accurate. The movie was far more true to reality. CANCEL
