Seth is stressed out over personal issues, but how is he going to make it in a professional environment if the slightest problem sends him into a meltdown?
If he’s not acting he’s seriously mentally ill and needs help. As for the elimination of Tim, we viewers can’t taste the food so we really can’t say who should stay or go. It doesn’t matter who messed up last time if someone else was worse. Also, it’s impossible to tell by how good a dish looks because it could taste like crap.

what a total lack of integrity on the part of Bravo to air this type of behavior. the man needs help and he is preventing the other contestants from doing their best by his tantrums and getting in their way. obviously he overturned the chocolate squares. to capitalize on his mental frailty is unconscionable. he was in the bottom 3 with a disgusting blue dessert that was colored artificially. if that is not grounds for elimination, what is? obviously it makes for good TV and that is a shame. i am disappointed in this program because i expected more from the Top Chef series. the premise is great and i had wondered how long it would take for them to think of this idea. too bad they could not come through with class and dignity.
Seth, Seth…oh boy. That’s what happens when mommy never lets you grow up past toddlerhood. Some issues there, yeah. He’ll be home sitting in her lap in no time.

Malika is weird…she should have gone home. I wonder if she has some muscular disorder which prevents her from smiling, or if she’s really just that unpleasant of a person.
I think Malika just looks pathetic all the time — or she’s about to fall asleep. She just looks like she’s defeated and wants to go home – no fight in her.
i was actually aroused by seth’s pounding and grunting during the quickfire before the breakdown. anyway, maybe he really is marky mark and dexter personified.

Unfortunately the whole series is unbearable. Seth and Zac are both grating. And while everybody hoped that bottom 3 Seth would fianlly get the boot, the producers stepped in as they expect that he brings the series drama and ratings. Typically Bravo. Love Top Chef and Gail Simmons, but this experience became too sticky and tasteless.
Wow this is already a better show than last season’s boring Top Chef. Seth is probably going into the reality hall of shame next to Chima from Big Brother after this meltdown. And he’s a mean brute. Glad Malika stayed. The reason they got rid of Tim was because he did not own up to his mistakes, which assures the judges that he will put on blinders and do the same thing in a future challenge. The right chef left. Morgan should have left last week, but this week was the right call.
Seth is immature & a Momma’s boy. He’s crazy. Should’ve been booted off when he refused to make wedding cake. He’s on his way out. They just keep him on for ratings.

Ok guys enough–you’re trying to take the Top Chef formula and expand it to new shows -admirable but desserts are another world. There are so many variables etc–why not take it a section at a time ie: ice cream- quick fire- create an amazing ice cream flavor. Elimination -create an incredible, unique dessert using your flavor of ice cream. Get it? Pastry, cake, pies, pudding, tarts, strudel, etc etc. All the drama is fun but we’re really watching because we love food.
