Don’t forget Eric Stolz and Lea Thompson in “Some Kind of Wonderful”. Another classic example of red-headed teenage awesomeness.
Redheads are sexier… I don’t know why, but they are.
this is the flimsiest premise for a PopWatch post yet…
I would not say they dominate, but there certainly is a higher percentage of attractive red haired women in movies than in real life. I think its because anything not “cookie cutter” is considered more desirable.
I, for one, didn’t know that Molly Ringwald wasn’t a natural redhead. This makes me a lot sadder than it should be.
But I don’t necessarily agree with the redheads as outsiders theory. Let’s not forget Julia Stiles in 10 Things I Hate About You and Ally Sheedy in The Breakfast Club– where Molly Ringwald played the popular girl.
Molly Ringwald HAS to be a natural redhead… it’s obvious by her skin and freckles that she is. I don’t know what the author of this article is smoking… do your homework!!!!!
I wish I had red hair!! Anyway red heads are cool!! Ron Weasly anyone!!
why did they skip Tai, she was auburn which is brunette-red. she was pretty much the Cady (Lindsay’s character in mean girls) of Clueless.
the fact that LiLo’s career basically free fall after she got rid of the red should answer your question.
Yeah, that was the problem. It has nothing to do with the drug problems, messed up family, and the DWIs.
The redhead women = attitude and control. The men = sensativity
Emma Stone is not a natural redhead..she admitted so on Chelsea Lately. Get your facts straight!
Emma Stone is a Natural blonde not a readhead
