That promo is like an owl without a graduation cap…heartbreaking.
Does anyone else remember the creepy owl themes in Twin Peaks?
Boy, I had no idea owls were so trendy. Though I have been spending some time on this tumblr page called “Hungover Owls.” It’s just photos of (mostly) real owls caught with unfortunate facial expressions, captioned as if they were (surprise) hung over….and it’s totally hilarious. At least to me. Hey, I’m trendy!
Its one am, and I’m reading about owls on the internet. I must be hallucinating.

My nana collected owls when I was growing up and as a result I too have a soft spot for them.
Owls also replaced pigeons as the flying pest in the world of Futurama.
and, let’s not forget its the mascot of Hooters Restaurant!
Don’t forget about the recent success of the rock band, OWL CITY.
There’s a wonderful memoir about a young biologist who raises a barn owl in her bedroom for 19 years, “Wesley the Owl” by Stacey O’Brien. (and I don’t think she’s related to Conan, but she is Irish!)
