And now with news that Jennifer Morrison has a long-term arc on the show? Well, be still my heart. Anyone who could make the judge-y, uptight Cameron on House as lovable as Morrison made her can definitely win over Ted Mosby, architect.
Last season of HIMYM was a mixed bag, and one thing the show has had a hard time with as of late was making Ted the romantic hero we’ve longed for him to be. Early on, the show gave us reason to believe that Ted really would be a good husband and father — Victoria? Robin? These seemed like lucky ladies. But we haven’t seen enough of that side of Ted recently; his relationship with Stella and subsequent jilting never felt fully earned, and his flirtation with Rachel Bilson was more frustrating than anything else. I’m officially ready to root for Ted in a romantic capacity. Really, really ready.

I didn’t hate Cameron as much as other people seem to…but “lovable” still seems like a bit of a stretch for me.

I think Cameron wasn´t lovable at all. The character got on my nerves.

I’m going to agree with you that Jennifer Morrison made the portrayal of Cameron lovable. I would miss her on House if I still watched the show.

I think Sarah Michelle Geller needs to be the mother and Lily needs to hate her at first. That’d be fun

Glad to hear she is going to be on the show this year, I really miss her on house despite the fact that they didn’t write well for her character. She is a talented actress and will definitely add to the show.

I loved Cameron and JM seems like an lovely person in interviews and others. I missed some seasons of HIMYM, but with JM in it, I’m ready to watch again !
I love the idea of Jennifer joining HIMYM. And we know she can do comedy, just check her out in Big Stan.
I still think they should bring Ashley Williams back to reprise her role as Victoria. She’s made the best “match” with the Ted character to date….
I heard that this show was good, but now Jennifer Morrison is in it, I might have to start watching it for definite! With House’s new season airing in under a fortnight, it’s good news all around!
Never liked her acting on House. Maybe she´ll be better doing comedy.
