Image Credit: Carin Baer/FoxThe season 2 premiere of Glee is less than two weeks away, and although we’ve already seen a few teasers for the new school year, we know that the possibilities in Glee land are truly endless. So much so, that at Glee‘s Comic-Con panel in July, co-creator Ryan Murphy told the audience that there is a Rocky Horror Picture Show episode is in the works for season two, while Chris Colfer (who plays Kurt) expressed his desire in performing “The Time Warp.” After season one’s numerous guest stars — and with John Stamos, and Javier Bardem already slated to appear in season two — it seems like Glee fatigue has yet to set in around Hollywood. So what about creating a role for Susan Sarandon, who starred in the 1975 film? “I’m not really a singer, so I wouldn’t be very out there. I’m a terrible singer. But I’m flattered they want to do it,” the actress told People. Vocal ability aside (though it’s worth noting that not all guest stars are required to sing. See: Mike O’Malley, Molly Shannon, although we’re sort of keeping our fingers crossed for the latter), do you think Sarandon would make a good guest star on Glee? And if they’re doing Rocky Horror, what about Tim Curry?
Can you see New Directions tackling The Rocky Horror Picture Show? (Is this possibly a Halloween episode?) To make the wait a little more bearable, let’s start fantasizing about season 2 storylines. Ready? Kurt just came back from a summer internship with Rachel Zoe, and…

Can we get Finn to dress up as Dr. Frankenfurter? I’m betting he’s got the legs for it!
I thought Finn was playing Rocky & Puck was Dr F?
Puck as Dr F? NOW we’re talking!
So, yeah, this blog post writer is a little behind, as it’s essentially already been confirmed the Halloweeen ep will be Rocky Horror, and that Cory’s on a diet to buff up for Rocky.
I admit I’d been avoiding really specific Glee spoilers, so no, I wasn’t up on the casting specifics. That’s okay, Finn will still look GREAT as Rocky, and that part suits him better anyway since Finn’s sweet, but not the sharpest crayon in the box.
There’s been hints that John Stamos or Matt Morrison is going to play Dr. F.
Sarandon guest-starring?! What an awesome idea!
It would be fabulous if Timy Curry guest starred. Question is, what would his role be?
If they don’t get Tim Curry in there somewhere, well, what a wasted opportunity. He’s be so good.
Barry Bostwick should be brought in as well.
They’re too old now. I don’t want Geriatrics on Glee.
I agree!! that will be so cool. Susan Sarandon and why not Tim Curry too
Rocky Horror Picture show…too exciting
Tim Curry is Rocky Horror!!
Yes please! Bring on Tim Curry!!! Not only does he make Rocky Horror, but he was also fabulous in Spamalot on Broadway!
If Susan Sarandon doesn’t want to sing in the production, she can play the narrator. And the audience will shout “Where’s your fu*@ing neck?” every time she comes on the screen.
I think Sarandon should just have a cameo role, but they should ABSOLUTELY have a big part for Tim Curry. The substitute principal while Figgins is out filming more safety promotions for Air India?
A. Tim Curry PLEASEEEEEEE
B. Does anyone else think Susan Sarandon looks exactly the same now as she did then? Does she age?
C. “I would like, if you may, to take you on a strange journey”
Re: B.
I believes she consumes the same non-aging elixir that Ralph Macchio chugs down on a daily basis.
What about Barry Bostwick AND Susan Sarandon? (I wouldn’t argue with Tim Curry either!) Holy cow, what a great and memorable episode of Glee! I would let the Glee kids do the scenes from the movie and install the original cast in key but generally unrelated roles–if it were me!
Barry Bostwick looks enough like Matthew Morrison to be his father. And Susan Sarandon’s red hair and big eyes make her a natural for the mom of the guidance counselor.
Victor Garber is Shue’s father, remember?
We already met Shue’s dad – it was played by the guy from Alias and Titanic… What’s his name? I can’t remember
Oops! Sorry!
Rocky Horror them? Seriously? PASS.
Wait, Javier isn’t guesting…….
YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! YES!!!
Um, would it be too much to ask to get Tim Curry on that episode??
I would love it if Tim Curry and Susan Surandon could both be in the Rocky Horror episode. Unlike the Britney episode, I am really looking forward to this one.
I think S. Sarandon is a wonderful actress – but no. I’m tired of reading about celebrities joining Glee. I would like Glee to just be Glee.
I personally love the guest stars, but I get your point. “Glee” is becoming the new “L&O” or “ER”: everyone who is now a star (or was already a star or who had been a star) had a guest spot on one of those shows. Since both of those are no longer on the air, “Glee” has taken their place.
Very cool–I really hope she does it. Tim Curry and Barry Bostwick too please. And Meatloaf too, of course. Susan and Barry could be one of the kid’s parents(Artie maybe? He’s *got* to be Dr. Scott). Named Janet and Brad, of course. Curry could be Frank, the mysterious history teacher who is rumored to be a drag queen at that club across town. Meatloaf is Eddie the cafeteria worker.
Barry Bostwick was in an episode of Cold Case that featured the Rocky Horror Picture Show, so I could see him making appearing on Glee.
